Exalted Arti set lacking?

Does anyone else find the substats on the 220 arti gear to be straight up worse than the bourg gear? Looking around junon I see the arti gear for almost nothing, while the bourg gear coss decent zulie- though less than stuff like raider and scout gear.

Maybe I'm wrong, but is 1m weapon range on the headpiece comparable to other dealer stats like 75 melee attack power or 69 crit? I consider 1m range to be equivalent to one skill point because the range passives give 2m at each skill rank. Shouldn't end game substats be more valuable than that?

Sadly, they will not fix these sets because they're 'pre-existing'.

 

However many points are true.

 

1: Both boots give dodge, a Cannon Arti has no place trying to build dodge.

2: The Range stat is so low, you's actually not noticeable.

3: Many of the parts are geared towards guns + base stats, instead of combat stats. While Artisans poses no stat to combat ratio passives.

 

Many aspects of the Artisan EQ's are flawed.

The stats are not useful on my launcher arti. I agree that the boots shouldn't both give dodge. Maybe one day when we have reworked arti skills and the level cap is raised arti can get more fitting 240 gear.

Demand is low because the gear only covers one of the types of battle arti.

I play arti.. But I switched to gun now.. As what feuer and double mentioned, the gears are for gun type and cannon types have been overlooked/brushed aside.. So yea.. Kinda sad :(
