Hahahaha. This is an interesting topic. I think if RO allowing same sex marriage is way too far off since it's from Korea and bought out by Japan. Both of these countries will probably never endorse this

Not everyone chooses to focus on the negatives of life... Equality is a reason to celebrate what we now have and talk about moving forward in the future.

 

Focus on the good, not the bad. You'll be much happier that way.

We outlawed guns under the same party but a different leader, who did a lot of amazing stuff and was a very competent PM. This current guy is just a god's boy who's flip-flopped on policy about 6 times now, made Aus the laughing stock of the UN by abolishing our policy on carbon taxing and screwing over fair treatment of illegal immigrants, and spends most of his time arguing with the opposition about nothing.

You make it sound like the US was fighting gay rights from the day it was perceived...the topic of gay marriage has only been a major issue over the last 45 years. Besides there are tons of instances were same-sex couples were married throughout history, but the media attention it garnered wasn't even around until the 70's. So it wasn't hundreds of years...it was a few decades. Sure it's a milestone, just seems like it gets an unnecessary amount of attention. Marijuana legality is up next, and gonna be interesting to see people start creating topics about why we don't have lower headgears called "Joints" to replace cigarettes and "weed leaf in mouth" to replace our romantic flowers.
