Some nice cards are coming in the near future! (we never know when iRO is going to get them though QQ)

Just want to share this.

 

 

NIGHTMARE PYRAMID CARDS:

 

JRO has always been on-par with KRO, in terms of updating new episodes and new items/equips. Surprisingly, for once JRO is late to the party, they have just officially launched "Nightmare Pyramid Instance" on 6/16/2015. ( iRO got it in 2013 )

Despite the fact of the late update, JRO actually implemented the new cards too! (Even KRO didn't put the cards in..

Again, JRO being JRO > . <)

NIGHTMARE MINOROUS

  • Increase physical damage against Brute and Undead monster by 10%.
  • When equipped with equip compounded with Nightmare Arclouse card: Reduce damage from Brute and Undead monsters by 5%. Ignore 50% physical defense of Brute and Undead monsters. 

 Compound on: Weapon

  • Reduce damage from Brute and Undead monsters by 20%. 
  • When equipped with equip compounded with Nightmare Mimic card: Reduce damage from Brute and Undead monsters by 5%. Ignore 50% magic defense of Brute and Undead monsters. 
  • When equipped with equip compounded with Nightmare Minotaur card: Reduce damage from Brute and Undead monsters by 5%. Ignore 50% physical defense of Brute and Undead monsters. 

Compound on: Shield

NIGHTMARE ANCIENT MUMMY

  • Reduce damage from Neutral property by 15%. 
  • Every refine of garment increase magical Fire damage by 3%. 
  • When equipped with equip compounded with Nightmare Mummy card: Reduce damage from Neutral property by 5%. Increase the probability of causing Sleep to all targets on 11x11 cells. 

Compound on: Garment

NIGHTMARE  MUMMY

  • When physically and magically attacked, chance to cause Sleep to all targets on 11x11 cells. 
  • When equipped with equip compounded with Nightmare Ancient Mummy card: Reduce damage from Neutral property by 5%. Increase the probability of causing Sleep to all targets on 11x11 cells.

INFINITE SPACE CARDS
 
KRO released this instance back in 10/28/2014 (Part of Episode 15.2). At first this instance wasn't very attractive to players because of the drops and the gameplay. 
Gravity decided to rework this instance in the test server on 06/24/2015:
  • Implemented new equips and cards.
  • Reduced the cooldown time of the instance.
  • More difficulty select options.
  • More enchant options available.

My opinion:

 

(1)Nightmare Minorous, Nightmare Mimic, Nightmare Arclouse

 

First, let's take a look at the possible alternative cards that is versus Brute class. Physical: Goblin Card. Magical: Naga Card.

These cards are not difficult to obtain, you can either farm them or buy them from Vend Shop for pretty cheap price.

However if you are against mob with really high DEF, then I guess you can use the combo. It's just that classes that don't usually wear a shield wouldn't be able to use the combo effect.

 

Next, let's look at the possible alternative cards that is versus Undead Class.

Physical: Scorpion King Card. (Only obtainable in ET)

Magical: Ancient Tree Card. (only appears in the Nidhoggur Instance)

So this card set's advantage, in terms of function and cost, is when you are versus Undead monster.

 
Where this card set shines:
  • Nameless Island, especially 2nd floor and 3rd floor.
  • Niflheim.
  • Horror Toy Factory - Celine Kimi.

If you are using one-handed staff (WL, SORC, Adoramus AB, Magnus AB), this card set will boost your DPS and you will deal tons of damage. 

 

(2)Nightmare Ancient Mummy, Nightmare Mummy

 

Even though Nightmare Ancient Mummy card increases Fire property spells by refinement * 3% (Crimson Rock, Hell Inferno, Fire endow Psychic Wave, Fire endow Tetra Vortex, Fire walk, Fire Bolts, Meteor Storm.. etc) but then it has to be compounded in garment, which conflicted with Antique Book card (MATK +5 every 10 pure INT). So base on your INT stat and garment's refine level, it will affect these two cards' value. Also, there is Alchemist Gloves that can also boost fire property spells. When you are using this card set with Alchemist Gloves, you probably will not see a significant increase in your damage. For example: Meteor Storm's damage can greatly amplify by Salamander Card, because meteor storm damage increase by 40% is multiplied with the fire property effect. Nightmare Mummys set however will not beat the Salamander. So you have to take into consideration of every situation.

 
About the AOE Sleep, because it depends on stat AGI. If you are PvM, unless your base level is greater than the mob's level by 20+, you probably will not see a very good effect. If you PvP, because Sleep will cancel when the target receives any form of damage, so it's not very viable either.
 
(3)Nightmare Verit
 
This card is awesome, period.  If you refine your shoes above +9, it will have the same effect as the Fallen Bishop card when you are against non Demi Human and Angel monster.
 
 
(4)Nightmare Amon Ra
 
This card is like a magic attack version of Gloom Under Night, except only the against "Shadow property and Demon" part. 
 
For AB:
Magnus, Adoramus (without Mora set) will increases damage to the next level. Most effective for this AB build.
 
For Sorc:
Psychic Wave (Neutral against Shadow, Fire against Undead)
Diamond Dust (against Undead)
Not bad for Sorc too.
 
For WL:
Tetra Vortex, Crimson Rock, Soul Expansion will benefit the most.
 
By the way this also increases Acid Bomb's damage. (Depends on how good the gene's weapon is)
 
 
(5)Infinite Chimera, Infinite Toad, Infinite Vagabond Wolf, Infinite Eclipse, Infinite Vocal
 
Infinite Chimera benefits Dragon Breath RK, Tiger Canon/Gates of Hell Sura the most. The other class can use the max hp/sp too, but not as productive as RK and Sura. Infinite Toad gives perfect dodge (situational). Infinite Vocal is pretty op.. compound with +9 shoes and receives MDEF bonus such that you gain immunity from Stone Curse/Frozen, the effect is outstanding. Eclipse will only benefit Super Novice or low vit build that is level 98 or below. Vagabond serves the same purpose as the Andre card. Imagine you put a Andre card in your temporal shoes.. nope just nope.
 
In summary, Chimera + Vocal is the best deal out of these sets. 
 
 
(6)Infinite Osiris
 
A nice card to have if you are a melee HP leech build. You will probably need two cards to have the maximum HP leech, but the drop rate is already so poor that you should be grateful if you can get one XD
 
 
(7)Infinite Eddga, Infinite Orc Hero
 
Eddga: Well, you can't use this against MVP. Also, provoking mob will reduce their DEF but also increase their damage. This card is only viable for the pullers (RG, RK, Mental Strength SURA, TANK AB). You slash into a huge mob wave and reduce the mob's def so that your party's DPS can follow up and deal more damage to the mob. Keep in mind that Provoke will prevent you from casting anything if you do not have high ASPD.
 
Orc Hero: TE WOE ! get rekt you squishy mages.
 
In 3rd job combats, if you are lvl 175 and the enemy casters' are around 150ish, then you can rekt them so hard with full demi human reduction gear and just crush them.
 
 
(8)Infinite Phreeoni 
 
If you put this card in a all purpose weapon, and wear some crit gears, you will be able to reach perfect crit to any MVP. This card can help you focus on increasing damage output and ASPD because you don't have to worry about crit rate anymore. Dual dagger crit and Sword crit GX will benefit the most (achieving  high crit and high aspd at the same time has always been dual dagger crit GX's dilemma). Crit/ASPD RK, Mech and Ranger will love this card too. Shadow Spell SC can use this card for MVPing because now the spell will proc properly. RG's exceeding break can 100% crit, therefore boost it's damage to the next level.
 
Summary: Everybody wants this card.
 
 
(9)Infinite Tao Gunka
 
It seems like this card is only viable for Super Novice and Ninja. For the other 3rd class characters, this card's effect is similar to Peco Peco card, Giant Octopus card and Paladin Randel card. If you are a baby, then this card's effect is equivalent to the real Tao Gunka card. In summary: Lower level with low vit build will find this card very useful.

It's basically a hyper sky deleter card. 

 

Tho, if you kill a mob of 10 it's 3k heal on the spot? eh, not terrible but not really soopha special mvp territory. If it was something like 1-2% hp, then ayyyyyy. 

 

Plus, it is in the accessory so eh.

Yes, minus 1 per 5 luck the enemy has. But there are plenty of people who have over 100 crit already.

I reach 110 crit unbuff as an autowarger. If I could replace 1 card for that Infinite Phree card, then suddenly I have no more issues with hitlocking. Ever.

 

So yeah, it is insane.

You have to kill the monster. Same mechanic as the Ground Deleter and Sky Deleter Card

Can only find out when the card is released in iRO and do some testing. The card description feels like as long as the spell is counted as a magical attack (whether aoe or single target), it will stun the caster.

soul linker's spell Kaite reflects AOE spells as well. 

 

iRO Wiki's description: Reflect targeted magic spells back at the original caster.

 

It says "targeted", same wording used in Maya Card's description, but totally different mechanic.

They are playing word games with us T.T
