It doesn't change the predicament, but it's a bad sign that iRO will not learn from it either. The lack of transparency from both the developers and iRO themselves doesn't really encourage players to contribute anything big to the game.

There's a lot of things they said they'll do "in the future." Doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen.

Can I trade a Community Created Headgear for a Autumn Headband since I just used 17 of my characters that were over LV 70 and didn't receive one? lol.... I really wish you would of made the headgear you get static depending on the class of the character instead of RNG. My luck is terrible... I don't even wanna sell it lol...

You can sell the other 17 for a decent amount and then buy an AHB. I got 40mil alone for a Black Ribbon.

Haha, after this patch if July 4th Quest is gone I can see the price going up on AHB. Plus, Yeah that's a great idea if I can get someone to buy it for a decent price... I mean I got 3 Dead man headbands.... that buggy thing... 2 Hats I can't even wear because they are for Wanderer.  If you do get a hat that looks like it would be awesome God can only hope it actually works...

I think at this point the existing effect has been in place on these headgears that it would be better to request new headgears with the same appearance but different effects so that people who have invested in purchasing and upgrading the 1st wave of 3rd Class specific gear will not have the effects of their gear radically change.

 

This would free us to focus on the fixing of the headgears that do not currently work from the 1st batch and give us something to shoot for with new headgears. 

 

We can make the 1st wave headgears available again with existing effects and add in the 2nd wave with the new (originally intended) effects.

 

The only gear that has a different effect from its original proposal is AHB. So how does making 2 waves of headgears affect other classes headgears? Shouldn't they get their respective "mainstream" build buff hats too?

 

 

p.s. I can just imagine the scammings that will occur from having 2 identical AHBs but different effects. I guarantee there will still be people who won't double check the item description and be 'tricked' into buying the wrong AHB.

If another headgear is made (and this time done right) for Traps it would need to be a totally different design, in order to avoid that type of scam (remember the Taming-item-that-looked-like-a-Strawberry scam some time ago?)

I don't think the current headgears buff the following skills: Exceed Break, Dragon Breath, Psychic Wave, Acid Bomb, Rolling Cutter, etc.
