I have been using a +9 ridewood hat on my rk for the leech like forever but now I noticed there is a new ridewood hat called cursed book. I wonder if anyone had the chance to test the new hat ? How good or bad it is compared to ridewood considering the upgrade bonuses?

been killing thousand of ridewords in nightmare CT and not one dropped. i have 2 books of mother earth [3], 1 book of billows [3], 1 book of gust wind [3] and 1 book of blazing sun [3] already. huhuhu....

at +9, RWH should have

5% chance to absorb 16% dmg as HP

1% chance to absorb 8% dmg as SP

 

accrding to description, at +9, cursed book should have

4% chance to absorb 8% dmg as HP

1% chance to absorb 4% dmg as SP

 

at +12

4% chance to absorb 10% dmg as HP

1% chance to absorb 5% dmg as SP

 

at +20 (well, lets try with impossibility)

4% chance to absorb 14% dmg as HP

1% chance to absorb 7% dmg as SP

 

TL;DR: +9 RWH is still superior

that's only judging from desc, need to test it to see the reality

FYI, I only have a +4 RWH and I got no Cursed Book hat

 

My prediction is as follows;

 

RWH: a cash shop item, meaning WP will get money from it = superior effect    = people will buy = more money $$

 

CBH: a monster drop item, so WP get no money = inferior effect = you are cursed  = need to farm the monster to get it.
