Again, as long as you are not able to get huge budgets, go for str RK first. It is easier to level and do good enough damage to farm and do some instance/mvping.

 

Crit RK is strong and cheap only when we have runestone improvement where turisus rune straight up buffs autoattack by 2.5x. At the current stage, its bloody expensive to make a strong crit rk.

 

Sample low cost build:

headgear:any heal hat (octopus hat,turkey,rudolf etc), black ribbon (IB dmg), or any headgear you can scrap off. MId/lower anything goes.

Weapon: thanatos THS/spear with Hunter Fly for leech OR if you to prioritise damage, RTE/crimson spear with three cards specific for ur farming area (insecticide for scaraba, beholder for NCT)

Armour: Any armour as long as it has element suited to your current farming location (earth armor for scaraba, evil/undead for nct. TI depends.)

Garment: nidhogur garment provides both great defense and leech, raydric carded

Shoes: temporal str boots fs7 (any or even no enchant)

Accessories: 2 peuz seal for dmg. Card with snowier card for even more cheap unlimited hp heals if you are not using heal hats or cant afford leech gears.

---> the cost is below 50m for the above stuff if you dont include headgear. You can start mvping at lower levels with ib->sonicwave->windcutter combo (blackribbon before 170, orc after) first, and then when you got enough job levels for hundred spears, switch to hundred spears->ib->sonic wave combo.

@blackCROSSY - so I'm going to respec my RK into a Hybrid, and i was wondering about the Temp Boots, since i'm gonna use DB & HS isn't Temp Dex EA/BP a better option than TEMP Str FS/BP.

 

What do you think. Keep in mind i play on euRO and our best gears are like: 

 

Headgear: Black Ribbon / Rideword hat / KTDH[1]

Mid Slot: Black Devil Mask[1]

Lower Slot : Bloodsucker

Armor : Hero Plate / Anti Magic Suit

Garment: Heroic Backpack / GGSS

Accs: Sarah Earrings / Pendant of Maelstrom / RWC accs

Boots: Temporal Boots

 

What are your recommendations?

if you’re playing a hybrid, you will eventually want 2 boots, both dex and str, but get the dex boots first since you will be spamming db more. Temporal dex ea4, enchant can be anything except runaway magic. BP might sound good but HS has a 3 second cooldown and with db/hs you’re also playing hit and run more, so it’s not completely necessary.

Aim to get more range enchant related equipment so both db and hundred spears can benefit. Also, if fRO hasn’t got old rune circlet yet, you will 99% still be a DB RK lol, so focus on the db gears.

Yeah, i came to the conclusion after trying it out xD

 

It seems Old Rune Circlet makes an unimaginable difference.

Hey bro! I saw you at bio5! You deal 1M+ Damage using Hundred Spears. May i know what is your setup? Thanks!

its the same setup in the video above. 1M+ dmg is easily reached against human mobs with 2x element weakness inside, which are randel, all archers, flamel, solin. But minstrel and cecil are both a pain there for str RK because of their agi-up.

ya haha. figured i’m getting much more from bio5 than instance grinding, so been putting my playtime there instead. So far all i’ve got are a bunch of chen cards though.

if you're playing str build, i honestly recommend a spear over THS so that you can use hundred spears instead of only IB.

 

edit: okay your stats is for crit build, but you're not wearing crit gears hehe.

@heick, if you’re not gonna get mobscarf and use, you might not need the combined 80 dex/int, and also your current build has 70 combined dex/int so it’s a little weird anyway. I would recommend you remove some int and add it to vit, so it reaches 90. This opens up HBP for you in case you ever want to use it.

Just buy some INT soul potion (11 to be exact) to change the stat, no need do reset stone.

Ans I think I'll go straight to Faw, but for now DR etran is work, I do have Fatal Faw but that's for crit
