Ever feel left out of the art contests because your art skills aren't the best? Now's your chance! Submit an RO2-themed drawing created exclusively in MS Paint and show it off!

Terrific can mean both 'extremely good; excellent' and 'causing terror' - we want to see everybody's terrific art, regardless of which definition you may think it falls under!

Rules & Details

• Include your character name along with your entry.
• Entry must be created completely in MS Paint, starting with a blank image
• Entry must be your own work, and must be created for this contest
• Limit one (1) entry per person
• Minimum resolution is 640x480. Anything larger is also accepted.
• Contest will close on July 31, 2015 at 18:00 server time.
• Remember to follow all forum rules!

 

Prizes
All quality entries will be awarded a 1 day Poring VIP.

Top 10 entries will be decided by WarpPortal staff and VMods. The top 10 will receive a Fashion Random Box of their choice:

Note: The "Animal Hat" box is named wrong in the database as "Glasses". If you pick the Animal Hat box, you will be sent the box with Animal Hats, and if you pick the Glasses box, you will be sent the box with Glasses!

My entry was inspired by the RO2 Login Screen. I can assure you I did not use any advanced editing tools such as Photoshop, despite what you may think at first glance.

I lacked a sense of color (colorblind) so... Could it be in black & white?

I'm colorblind too, though you would never guess that from my expertly colorized entry *cough cough*. I think clashing colors would only make your entry more terrific

Nope! Color is not required. You could do it in black & white, grayscale, or even purposefully mix the colors up to be unusual, similar to what Tonitrua has mentioned.

MS Paint is love <3 It's a wonderfully simple program for pixel art + spriting, and in fact it's the program that got me interested in becoming a graphic designer in the first place. For taking me back to my roots, I decided to take RO2 back to the roots - 8-bit sprites (or is this 16-bit?).
