pretty sure samurai specter is rocking you w/ hell judgment. afaik that's a neutral property attack so DR would go a long way towards reducing that.

samurai only deals neutral damage, deviling card is the way to go. also CEB comes handy in both giving reduction and damage, glorious suits is an ok option, 20% hp and 7% demihuman reduction. realistically there's no way this is not enough to kill him easily

In my experience against MVP's, it's all about the maximum HP :v Enough of it, and nothing will 1-shot you. So, as you level up, more MVP's become som much easier. At 150, Samurai 1-shotted me, at 165, I could take it, at 175 he doesn't even hits me :v VIT is so important. 90 at least will help you take on almost anything. 100 if you wanna feel ultra safe.

 

It really depends on the MVP on what gears and what to prioritize. I'd reccomend investing in some ASPD gears first, so you can take the most amount of MVP's. Though, it IS expensive to be able to reach 193 ASPD consistently. Some heavy investment is required, as most of the equips are difficult to obtain. 

--Gears to look for ASPDwise--

-Bakonawa Agimat Tattoo (~850m-1b)

-Full ASPD FAW, if it's +9 ASPD+1/AD3/AD3, if it's +12 SpecialAGI/AD3/AD3 (+9 is 550m, +12 is +1b probably)

-Temporal AGI Boots AD4, with LD being the ideal enchant (with LD it goes for 400-500m at +0, ~1b at +9)

- +9-+13 Red Isabella Ears, these are cheap now [20/July/2015], or at least cheaper than normal (+9 is ~500m, +11 is ~800m, +13 is ~1.5b)

- +2 ASPD Chakram (+0 could go for 1b, +9 for 1.5b, +12 for 2b)

- Costume:Rudra's Wings ASPD+1 (850m-1b? These are so expensive now >.< I got mine when they were first introduced)

 

If this GX is your only class, it's going to be hard to farm some of these. Run ALL of the instances that you can, especially ET, Bakonawa and OGH. I got almost all of my ASPD gears from farming those. I got my 2 tattoos (1 character, 2 months time), my boots (2 characters, 1 week time) and some nice money from all these instances.

If you have to choose, go for the ASPD FAW. It gives the most out of all and with proper buffs, you can achieve 193 ASPD rather well. VIP Buffs, +20 food, Awakes, Celermine and AGI Scrolls was what I used for 193 when I was leveling. I took my first OGH when I was 145 and it went rather well.

 

As for weapons, I use a +12 Thanatos Katar [AK] and I love it. I know it doesn't have the max Crit Damage, but heck, it's still super good. My current set-up (I am 175):

This is so good XD Can reach 30-50k RC with proper weakness and up to 85k with Dark Claw. Awakes and Celermine can take me up to 192 ASPD here :v

 

With these set-ups, I can take ET up to FBH and kill him, though an alt Gene to FCP and carry supplies is advised.

if we have the data on db.irowiki already, this one is most accurate to our server about skill usage. divine-pride sometimes mix info between servers.

(I have Handcuffs) Unless Pegasus Ears and +9 Temporals set me at 192 with awakening and Celermine, then I'll just need 1aspd enchant. If I hit 193 ASPD that way I'll need new boots as these are SoL enchanted, there's a an Agi Boot with Bear Power right now, gonna go buy it and put my current ones for sale.

well just off the bat you should get a peco armor; succubus on its own is pretty crappy, unless I'm missing something

you should also do the eden crystal hunting quests and get the crystal buffs so you can start saving up to get enhanced variants.

I use Succubus + Incubus for leveling purposes, kinda unneeded now with the Thanatos Katar. I have a Peco Valk for my RK. And meh, I'd rather just straight up buy the enhanced variants.

Things is though wearing variants keeps me from wearing temporals ._. Which are kinda importante.

Deviling is around 600-800m? These buyers/sellers always so much apart. XD

 

Chakram with ASPD will totally help you with reaching 193. Loki's Mask is a nice adding, but don't use it when RC'ing, because RC benefits way less from ASPD. 189-190 is enough to super spam it. Use Gangster Scarf/Pirate Dagger instead. Raising the boots to +9 and using Filir's Pinions (way cheaper than Pegasus) will probably put you at 193. Don't forget about +20 AGI Food! It's +1 ASPD guaranteed there XD 

 

Eddga adds WAY more damage than Angra Mantis. At +9 it has a rather nice proc chance.

Not being one shot isn't worth not being able to kill it in the first place. I need to find a happy medium between defense and offense, go to heavy on one and I can't kill because the other is worthless.

About Filir, well, Pegasus adds 3% ASPD at 150, while Filirs add 2% ASPD. Filirs is like 40m, Pegasus are like 250m  

 

You can always use the Calculator, though I don't know how exact it is with ASPD calculations. I used it myself and it worked rather well. http://calc.irowiki.org/

 

Using your stats, I put some numbers in the Calculator:

 

120 AGI, 150 base, 39 Job, Katar Weapon = 182.01 ASPD

 

+9 HBP (ASPD+1, ASPD+8%) => 184.05

+6 Temp AGI AD (ASPD+16%) =>186.12

120 AGI Boots Bonus => 187.12

Awakening Potion => 189.18

Enriched Celermine => 190.21

VIP Buffs => 190.67

+20 AGI Food => 191.92

Loki's Assassin Mask (+10% ASPD) => 192.69

 

Here's the magic part :3

 

+9 Temp AGI upgrade (+3% ASPD) => 192.92

Filir's Pinions (+2% ASPD) => 193.00

Even so, I can make money for supplies no prob, it's just I like using as little as possible.
