Greetings!

May I ask which is/are the most accurate source/s of monster information here at iRO

Which ones are good for Monsters, MVPs, Instance Monsters  

 

For example. MVP Amdarias:

If iWiki has something, use it, if it doesn't, use divine-pride.

 

The difference is divine pride reads game files, which can be mistranslated or leave info out due to neglect, while wiki's is done by player feedback. But wiki is manually updated so laziness prevails and it isn't always up to date.

Or are these data not being read from the files? I mean MvP drops and OCA list don't exist in the files or they do?

Oh and in terms of answering the topic's question, I do exactly like Jaye. I am used to iROwiki and it has probably the nicest searching features between the three (ro.vrc7 isn't actually a DB) and the one I am used to the most. When it doesn't work or something is missing I use RMS and DivinePride

Seriously, why is WP so afraid of private servers? I thought iRO is the superior server. And if you're going to emphasize that private servers are illegal...well, botting is illegal, but somehow it is tolerated here. Don't you think that's kind of inconsistent and hypocritical on your part?

The rule is about linking RMS on forums, if the players still wish to use said website then it is their own choice. As for botting it is not tolerated on iRO, if you believe otherwise then it's what you believe. With that being said, this is not a relevant topic to discuss this so let's stay on track.

Most sites require constant update but not everybody got the time to do so.

RMS is somewhat useful for at least job change guide but they got links that forums forbid.

I'd rather dig forums since feedbacks come from people who already tried a lot of stuff and even discussed it.

 

I still believe that experience is the best teacher , though .
