The party booking feature in RO is kind of a forgotten element right now when it has the potential to be a big help for leveling. Especially with gathering parties for Bios and NCT.

I think something needs to be done to make it more noticeable, and easier to navigate so people will experiment with it. Make it easier to describe where the party will be leveling (It'd be cool to have a way TI parties can put up an add so the leader doesn't have to sit at the entrance and recruit while everyone else gets counts).

But I think it has more potential to just be a thing for parties to put up adds, I think it can alleviate the problem with the 1fst Floor Eden problem. Make it to where there's an option to put up adds for buying/selling higher end items and things people are wanting to sell but can't at the moment because they're not on their merchant at the time (not like a shop though, just an add for one item at a time), allow it to show the item you are selling upgrades and all. You could even create a way to filter what type of item you're looking for so you don't have to wade through a sea of stuff you don't care about *cough*eden1fstfloor*cough*

Not stopping there either. I think you could even make a section for guild recruiting and everything, allowing only guild leaders and those with the punish power to set one up and allow only one at a time.

Just stuff that allows players to continue playing their game without having to sit down and afk a chat room.

For example: I only have one account I care about really, and when I have slow internet connection dual clienting makes me want to vomit, so if I need to sell something or recruit for a party I have no choice but to AFK my merchant overnight or sit there and do nothing while my party is actually doing things.

omg you're an amazing person for thinking of that!

But did you also take into mind the possibility of using it for Guild Recruiting and Marketing too? Those are the bigger ideas in my post.

Well the biggest idea is
I WANNA PLAY MY GAME

NOT SIT WITH A CHAT ROOM FOR AN HOUR

Sorry don't mean to double post but:

I was kinda thinking of how to take the Marketing System of Guild Wars 2 and bring it into the perspective of RO.

In Gw2 you can search for items you want to buy as well as put items up for sale, people can check your prices to other prices and the game itself can also find the cheapest alternative for you.

Obvi that's probs a bit more complicated than RO can do but it started the idea of "What if I didn't have to AFK in Eden for a +9 HBP and could just check for listings"

I'm not aware of any MMORPG that has an in-game guild listing. Pretty much every guild out there advertises themselves outside of the game. For RO to have such a feature, it would be better to have it so instead of requiring an Emperium, players go to a guildmaster NPC to create guilds and add their guild to an in-game guild listing hosted in a major city.

As for marketing, I may have done a thing.

There should be one >.>
But my suggestion was having it work like a chat room just without the being combined to one space.

And the other thing is close, but it doesn't allow for buying and selling HIGH END items, things that cost more in today's market than what can be priced with for vending, cause that's why Eden 1fst Floor is such a mess.

What makes you think it wouldn't do just that? It is a proposal after all.

Well if you're going with making an already in game feature simply more accessible then it's just gonna go by near to the same rules right? Unless explicitly stated "you're gonna be able to buy and sell high end items" then I'm obviously going to assume it's not.

They should mix the party search feature with the auto-grouping feature for battlegrounds.

Add quest to introduce it to new iRO players.
