are you talking about the sin skill venom dust? what's the point? does anyone who does woe1 or 2 not have 100 total vit?

i dont see a reason for myself to go pure crit for woe honestly. But id like for you to elaborate more on what your saying.

i dont intend to give out my exact stats, but basically;
Focus on survivabilty, then hit so that your VI dont miss. Get enough str for decent damage during woe for RC, not to mention it is easier to manage your weight limit so that it wouldnt >40%. Get decently high agi so that you can reach 190~ and become a breaker when you need to. As for Luk, if you want to do some pvm using this, invest in it. Int do less for us and mainly for status redux only. You can ignore this one and pump it on luk instead for more hit (i love hit :v) and basically more of anything. Optimize this stats with HPB bonus if you want to do some general pvm and mid~low tier mvp using this character.

tl;dr: vit>dex>agi~str>luk>int

I don't think you'll need high dex for VP (at least in woe), since VP itself gives you additional hit when you use the skill.

also, what you can do with GX is, sneak kill non-saced ranger. it'll 9999% helping your guild to survive.

most ranger die in 1-2 CIs, since they like to default their OP bow. (damn i hope they're not starting to wear dem shield after reading this)

Rangers are hardly a problem in WoE unless their gears are godly, in which case they probably have mayas bro.

Problems are precasters, Mechanics, recallers, shadow chasers, and a good performer.

Everything else is to try and work around that which is above.

At least from my experience anyway
(I played Maestro and gave 3 Suras hell in their own castle for a good ten minutes, if that tells you anything about what classes need to be taken out.)

the problem is the guild i'm fighting have godly-godly ranger (the godly is squared)

most of my death in woe is just from AS -.-

so if a GX could take them out it would be such a helpful thing to do.

WE already has a hefty nerd to ranged damage. That ranger is probably glass Canon to the max, smack him and he'd probably die. I suggest getting ranged reducs.

If a ranger is killing you in WoE it means they're squishy as hell btw xD

Ranger job in woe is not to tank, its to deal the highest burst damage possible, being squishy is a counterpart of playing ranger in woe, thats why they need sac rgs. every post im clearly thinking u never steped a single foot on the big woes of this server....

I notice that my VP (level 5) miss against a few sura and dbRk. I cant afford that to happen when my aim is to 1shot, 1hit. That why i personally prefer high dex. But yea, OPranger is OP :v
I can tank some of the goh, or gfist. But when they start to use no limit, i start to hate my life :T

One problem with trying to sneak a kill against ranger for me is because i run around with CK and Thara. When i saw a nonSac Ranger, I will need to gear swap to katar, then edp. That delay sometime can kill me and not to mention that i have to run to them :v

I prefer to LE them, or OC, if you saw that they have warg. Typical Ranger build is high Dex, high agi, high luk (if you saw warg), and 100 total vit. (that will leave them with 50~ to both int/str) You still have pretty decent OC change against them. And if they dont have sac, high chance that they also dont have string. So LE also work against them.

Kyrie Eleison-Prefatio (this can happen on other classes as well but since a lot of sura are taoed and Kyrie formula is based on max hp of the target they will benefit more from this skill)***  / Millennium Shield Rune. That's why you miss against them.

The amount of damage the barrier will block is affected by the MAX HP of the target. The barrier only lasts for a certain number of attacks or until the amount of damage the barrier will block is exceeded.

I know this. You need to stop assuming.

I have never woed with huge guilds other than linking for Clandestine.
But I have woed with several more medium sized guilds. We never had problems with rangers as far as I know (I even tanked several arrow storms). Then again my guild had three extremely coordinated Shadow Chasers.

Sad truth, the reason that WoE has no new players is because of the abundance of MVPs
