Does target stats affect DB damage?

I see my DB damage is different for different mob. Anyone know why?

did you check the elemental property of the mob? db is not a neutral property attack.

It's affected by def.

 

you're right Azzy.

 

i can conclude the Base DB formula is Floor[Floor(CurHP/50 + MaxSP/4) x (Skill Level x Base Level / 150)] x (95 + Dragon Training Level x 5)

you can add Ranged% damage and Elemental Modifier Applied to whole Damage and substracted by target defence.

Floor{Floor[Floor(CurHP/50 + MaxSP/4) x (Skill Level x Base Level / 150)] x (95 + Dragon Training Level x 5)/100} x (1 + %Ranged/100) x (%ElementMod/100) - (Target Soft Defence + Target Hard Defence)

tho def wont change the damage for more than 700 in the most extreme cases. elemental property plays the biggest factor here. status ailmentes can change it as well if they act directly at damage deal (deep sleep, lex, fiberlock<1,5x fire dmg) or do something with target def status, such as poison.
