Primer / Selling Points
- This would greatly return the value to 0.02% drops to early game monsters, which will in turn put a lot of zeny into the hands of new players.
- New players can also enchant the things they find, giving them useful headgears to use in their early stages of the game.
- By design, this shouldn't negatively impact later game balance, since even the rarest combinations here would only be slightly below comparable to currently popular gears.
- Solves the problem of rare but obsolete drops being depressing
- Its a way of getting rid of all those extra cards without implementing a dangerous OCA exchange which people tend to ask for now and again.
The NPCS
Well say these npc should be in alberta, because alberta needs some love.
Eugino the card collector
Found at Alberta 99, 110. He looks like a kid and has blond spikey hair with red highlights and a blue jacket.
This npc will gladly take any card off your hands. He isn't particular about the cards so he won't assign different values to the cards based on what they do. Every card is worth the same, to him.
When you talk to Eugino a menu listing the first 4 stacks of cards he sees in your inventory comes up, and a cancel choice. Picking the card name moves to the next dialog "are you sure you want to give me one [poring card]?" The bracket portion in red. Confirming he gives you one of his treasured "collector's coins" from his favorite pizza parlor and arcade.
Patty Pennysworth (NPC ID 73)
Found at Alberta 99,121.
Nearby, we have Patty, who is planning to take her nephew to his favorite pizza parlor and arcade, but just doesn't want to spend a whole lot of money on the party. She's a talented protective charm enchanter and is willing to enchant certain headgears in exchange for collector's coins.
Bring me a +5 or higher (item from a select list) and I will give it mdef +6 ~ mdef +12 for one coin.
If you bring the same item back I can put a second enchant of vit 1~3 or int 1~3 on it for another coin.

Found at Alberta 122, 139, this NPC looks like a luchador and is flexing his muscles for the other NPCs nearby (Elin, Belder, and Drunken Old Man).
The masked fighter is broke and thinks he might be able to buy a new future with enough ski ball wins at his favorite pizza parlor and arcade. Bring him collector's coins and he'll fine tune certain headgears for fighting in the ring.
Bring me a +5 (item from a select list) and I will enchant it with fighting spirit 4~9 for 1 coin.
