Why in 2015 is this website down so damn much?

Forums were undergoing maintenance and upgrade. The process was not that smooth hence the intermittent connectivity.

I've been playing ~2 months and it's an almost daily occurrence at some point.

that some point is when the creepers creep the forums. It's a normal occurrence.

At around 10:30 AM PST and 10:30 PM PST the forums always go down for a little bit.

It was down 7 hours for the maintenance/upgrade.

 

Since the completion of the upgrade, it has gone down 3 times.

Explain better.

not really, no. GMs don't visit the forums, and Oda/Camp rarely comment here. if other players can help, then they normally do, otherwise you are just told to raise a ticket.

Well, the server that the forum is hosted on seems to be doing a lot of unnecessary multi-tasking...

I've always said gravity's servers don't seem to have much more processing power than a toaster oven or a coffee pot. Looks like I was right.

i'll take the toaster everyday and twice on sundays (because sunday breakfast is the best breakfast).

On a related note, if the forum on the same server as the game?

 

It seems whenever the game is down then the forum is too. That's irritating for updates..

doubt its the same server but behind the same router or something so its probably the router going down
