I've been wondering about using AA card on my linkers.

but the 77 luk requirements is totally a downside. I need to sacrifice some amount from either int/vit just to get 77 luk.

Have anyone tried using AA card on linkers? I wonder if it's actually good or nay.

I have tried both Esma and Battle Linker builds. The 77 LUK definitely takes away from things especially considering the Dagger of Counter (Battle Build) is available and allows a person to put those stat points somewhere else. For Esma build, sure every 3 LUK points give you MATK, but you also get more SP with INT for the costly Esma casts.

 

What kind of build are you going for?

my final build is without esma, it's more like a WOE or ET build so I guess I'll be linking a lot of peoples.

Things that make me in need of AA blush is that I don't have enough points to get some important link up to lvl 5

And at lower lvl it cost me so much mana, like 200-300ish. So yeah that's it

If they ever raise the level cap it'd be viable but 77 base stats in luk is just too much. You'd be totally sacrificing another stat. (you'd only be able to get 1 other than luk decently high) This means you'd either have a vitless str build or a dexless int build. If you had near 100% variable cast reduction you might be able to get away with a 1 dex/1 vit int/luk caster build or something, but it'd be rough.

 

Honestly just getting like 30-40 base int and a few points in kaina and your sp should be pretty stable. I spam skills in pvp nonstop and rarely have sp issues. A handful of light blues(or just regular blues, they're kinda heavy though) would be fine. If you're duoing with another linker in ET(which is really, really effective) for kaupe spam, happy break(sit side by side and /doridori) will regenerate your sp in like 15 seconds to full.

oh great, I thought I'd be having a problem with SP in either WOE or ET, but if it's ET, we defiinitely can't stand side by side with other linkers. have you tried ET raids with linker? I want to know if you've ever faced a problem with mana management inside ET. Thanks viri ^^

 

and you're right about 77 luk, it's just too much>.< I wont have a decent build with 77 luk stat, sadly ;^; So I guess I'll get over with AA card for linkers

I only did ET pre renewal on linker. In renewal it's generally easy enough that parties don't need to bring them, but having 2 would make some of the harder bosses a lot easier (kaizel/kaupe spam). You do need sleep immune/stone curse immune gear for bee at the very least though. I would definitely bring some SP items, but as long as you have a sorcerer that can exhale you every few floors and sp items in emergency it's not bad.

thanks for your advices. i'll make sure I'll get anti sleep and stone curse... highest hard mdef I could reach atm is around 60ish. I don't have decent armor yet. I guess I'll be switching valk with medusa and hodremlin for ET. wonder if that's good XD

 

btw, another question, do I need high dex for WOE/ET? I have 30 atm and with FAW max spell I cast quite fast alr. but I saw lots of ppl prefer high dex build for WOE.

actually I'm a new player and haven't tried any WOE yet. *sob*

so I can't figure out about final stat/skill build

But I'm planning to join a woe active guild and train myself to be a good linker.

I'd suggest participating in both, for sure. But that sways my recommendations a little, if you want to do TE. I wouldn't get very low dex if you intend on doing TE because the vellum arc wand is disabled on that map(and pvm) so if you want a reasonable cast time I'd definitely get at least 70 base dex, at a bare minimum. With a +9 vellum wand you can achieve instant cast dexless pretty easily.

Just like 30 ish agi and 20 ish str base to help with weight/dealing with masquerades from shadow chasers.
