Well rangers aren't very good pet users, but if you insist on being a damage pet user, I'd recommend Vador/Moonlight Flower for parties. I don't recommend Mermaid because there are better classes for that and you don't want to overwrite their damage with your significantly lower base damage. If you're soloing though and it doesn't matter, then go ahead and get Mermaid too.
