everyone has different opinion of course and it does not affect me if the ragged removed or not but it is very strange to me that u say nothing is lost but if how ManItsMike compare it to something then i will compare also. if in the real world u work hard to achieve a good life for ur family but then ur family get in an accident. then for what do u work all that time? the purpose is not there but u still have the money u cant start a new family u only have 1 family but they are gone. i know it sound weird but to explain not everything is in plain color like u say. maybe that is extreme sorry if i offend

A little, extreme, friendo. My analogy was to an investment that you knew was unwise in the long run, like the set that people knew would be fixed at some point. As for losing your family (and to anyone here who has ever lost a family member to tragedy, know you're not alone ) it does not compare in the least. No one can ever expect when they, or anyone will pass, or how they will. I feel that the two situations are impossible to compare.
As for the set, I wish it was able to be fixed before, but at least we're making strides towards balance.

In my opinion, the answer would be a big NO and case closed.

Case closed, and lose players / customers who are high-leveled enough to think this game is worthy to put money into. Sounds... remotely terrible.
Also it isn't as much about a refund than about a way to keep advantages obtained through the amount of farm / money it must have taken to upgrade their gear to this level.
I would like to once more quote Sean718's suggestion and ask responsible people to think about it, as it doesn't seem to be too much of a bad deal for both sides and isn't a "pay-to-win move" since it would be about optimization more than balance breaking.
I would have explored the option of reducing the g2 6* element bonuses from (single element) 1.2% to 0.2% etc.
The bonuses of the g2 6* element cards would correspond to the level of the equipment similar to how the g2 stat cards correspond to the level. [...]

Or we could just disable elements in pvp all together and then let all costumes be socketed.

This is the final decision directly made by our producer and our production team and there will be no further change to this decision.
Additionally please know that there will be no socketable IM costumes available in the game in the future.
It's your decision to discuss about things, but this won't change the decision of the production team. I stated it very clear in my first post:
There will be no further change to this decision. And there will be no socketable IM costumes available in the game in the future.
The fix that will be applied isn't done manually. It's a script that runs automatically and it affects any Ragged Ghost Set Item which is socketed.
It will affect every item, no matter if they're in your inventory, registered at open-market, pending in an in-game mail, guild vault, account vault or personal vault.
After the fix is applied all these ragged ghosts sets will keep their enchants and soulcrafting options, but every item will be set to non-socketable again.

For compensation, I think WP should compensate the "costume soul bond remover" and the "hammers" )
