Hi,

 

I would like to ask if there is something wrong with Sea Captain's Hat?

I just made it to +7 and have weaponry research level 10 but the damage is still a 20% increase (tested on porings).

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

I just did a stats/skill reset from the mesmerist if this helps. (Already used all skill points properly.)

many of the july 4 headgears do not work fully or at all. sea captain hat is probably one of the broken ones unfortunately.

Hmm, thats really sad to hear.

I guess I can only hope for a fix in the future..

Do you know if it might work at +9 or maybe it might at least give additional damage at +9?

I sold my +9 months ago and I think it worked 'a bit'. +40% should be a notable difference (with all the required skills maxed) but I think it was less than that (which why I end up selling it).

Hmm, thanks for the info.

It could be only the Axe mastery affects it but the weaponry research doesnt. 

Well at least now I can decide.
