Ok while I'm playing Rose, there would be times when my client freeze, and then seconds later it will back to normal, but then I get this error in my desktop saying "Display Error Recovered Successfully" something like that. This happens evrytime and it is so frustrating! I don't get why I keep getting this error,my computer/graphics can handle other games that have very high graphics (like Tera and such). Compare those to Rose Online, I just don't get it.

Have you also played those games recently? If not, it could be the temperature right now. Your graphics card could be overheating, and resulting in it crashing. Is the weather very hot where you are?

Additionally it could be a bad graphics driver. Rose Online is an old game, but the technology for graphics keeps advancing everyday. If you updated your graphics driver recently, then maybe it is the cause.

Try to roll back the driver to the previous version.

@OP, based on the error message you posted, the problem is not in ROSE, it could also be, aside from ROSE, there were other computer games or software applications opened at the same time and your CPU/GPU couldn't properly handle it anymore.

Also, do this before you hit Start ROSE Client; double click RoseOnline.exe, click on Settings then Click on Video, check the Hz, normal is 60. Also try to look at the Quality which is just below on that, maybe your settings is set to Ultra try to lower it then if satisfied Click Apply then OK then hit START. Observe what will happen

Finally, as mentioned by Banrukai, maybe you recently updated your graphics driver and it corrupted unfortunately without your knowledge, try to uninstall that update so you can rollback/stay to what graphics driver version you had before.

Happy Gaming

Yes I still do play Tera, game runs smoothly with the graphics on high. I never get the error while playing that game. I also play league on high settings and I never get the error. I only get the error when I play Rose Online, I tried running the game in windows mode and turned the graphics to the lowest settings but for some reason I still get the display error. Maybe it's the heat coming from my windows? Idk, I still play those games nowadays and no error occurred during those times.I should reinstall rose and see if something happens.

I did not recently change the graphics card nor update it.,

Try to reconfigure your video card settings in your computer, set it to its maximum capability, do the same thing with ROSE Video Settings.

After that, try to take screen shots from ROSE and see how's the result, if the image is displaying poor quality again then you need to buy a high end video card which is supported by your motherboard.

Good luck :)

That screen shot problem is from having the camera pov too close. Try zooming out some.

Your graphics look fine to me, but as pdfisher said, you are just zoomed in to close to the dragon. This results in parts of it becoming invisible.

As for your video card, it can't be changed because you are using a laptop. But you can still configure your graphics settings for the computer.

If you have Nvidia graphics, then you should be able to right click on your computer desktop and there should be an option for the NVidia control panel.

If you have AMD graphics, then it should be the same thing.

No no not really. Even in SC, i see the walls having kind of see through characteristic, and when i view my cleric wearing white tuxedo in character select window, my char's costume is see through.

Even when i play other game (Gta san andreas) same goes for it. Distorted images having triangles on it and being see through.

That "see through" thing in GTA sounds familiar. But I had with the water and the bridges. Basically the bridge was "see through" and some parts even barely visible, and the water was...on the street, kinda.

I got it, cause I was using an outdated graphics card driver for my graphics card. As soon as I upgraded it to the up to date driver version (via AMD/NVDIA driver page - it is a software to execute), all was fine and back to normal again.

Could it be your graphics card driver is not the newest one?

If so upgrading it to the up to date version might help. :p_smile:

Do you know the make of your graphics card? Since I have an nVidia, I just go to their website. They have a thing that will search your computer, and let you know if you need a new driver. Of course now I have driver booster from Iobit. It checks my drivers for me.
