Things to NOTE:

- Lego would redesign this in collaboration with the GM Team/iRO/WarpPortal and the finished product would obviously be very slick.

- If it hits 10,000, the many angles being suggested would be explored. For now it's just a proposal with rewards being planned.

- We may have 5000 players on RO, but each of those players knows at least one other person - sharing is key!

- The site reduces all images, so no how nice the slides look they get hit with nasty resizing. Surprised they look as good as they do.

Honestly not a fan of this.

I loved and still love Lego, but personally, I don't like the look of most of the presented items.

People will buy them for in game items, I'm sure...

Not really a fan sorry. They look terrible, most of it is prefab, the architecture pieces don't fit with your aesthetic, the stalls and smithy are a bit fiddly, the characters have been textured inappropriately and don't look anything like their game counterparts, and the presentation slides are just a mishmash of stolen assets with no real direction =<

 

I am actually amazed WP would officially endorse this one one hand, and refuse to put up banner ads for the ACTUAL GAME or promote it in any way beyond giving a cursory nod to fanworks on the other.

 

You asked for votes though, so you're going to get them. Rewards can be enticing, even if stuff like this just means that the creator is aware the proposal can't stand on its own merits ._.

Pretty much this.

These would sell to a VERY niche group and the characters are NOT recognizable.

The wizard or w/e looks like Elton John cosplaying as a vampire.

 

I think that Prontera castle would have been a better set accompanied by a knight on a peco, etc.

After that, a theme from each satellite town accompanied by their associated class. (Geffen mage tower with wizard, etc.)

well seeing as how you need 10k supporters to even get LEGO to consider this as a set, the combined pops of all servers maybe reach 5k? that's including bots which is certainly not a small portion of the overall population. sure one person can vote several times as long as they kept making new accounts but that seems to be forcing the issue.

additionally WP has actually agreed to this? who owns the IP? several other designs that reached 10k supporters in the past have been sunk b/c of licensing issues.

I will support you. But to be honest, the design looks horrible, I would not buy it as a gift, just a trophy for my beloved game collection.

i was honestly expecting like a 2 foot tall lego model of in-game characters or something with moderate lego-y detail.  I would support something like that, but a lego prontera that is hardly recognizable at all from the screenshots?  All the screenshots shown so far does a pretty poor job of even resembling RO aside from the color scheme.

 

If the final product is going to be vastly improved upon then i'll support it.  Wish you the best of luck here, it seems like it could potentially be interesting.
