Well, after testing in game and reading about it (here: https://goo.gl/3FaVCX), I'd like to know why the sword have been nerfed in iRO servers.

It used to work in pRO and it still works in kRO (see a guilde for the build on kRO server here: http://goo.gl/GIJ6oK).

It doesn't proc anymore when using coldbolt from another source, and it would be great to have it back since the job doesn't have much fun in terms of pvm experience.

Because iRO players figured out how to abuse it (like infinite bolt rain). kRO doesn't fix things we abuse usually; they fix stuff from their own testing. So our GMs had to take matters into their own hands.

iRO version of cd in mouth is pretty much infinite bolt rain lol

I remember they were abusing it specifically with assassin dual wielding 2 elemental sword and a cd in mouth. Melee until cd proc, then infinite bolt from the 2 sword. Something like that.

But how did the abuse work? It's clear in the item description that when a cold bolt is casted, by any souce (gazetti, cd in mouth, etc), the whole sword combo will activate. And that's exactly how it works on kRO/pRO.

if you dual wield you trigger both swords I believe. First sword casts the bolts, then its bolts trigger the second sword, back & forth infinitely.

Wouldn't it be better to make it unequipable on left hand? It seems like the abuse happened only in one job and the nerf made it hell for everyone.

I am a little lost here, is this the right way to report and ask for a change or I should write somewhere else? Thank you for helping, I appreciate that.

They fixed both the sword and the CD in mouth the only way they could.

 

The right way to ask for a given change (not this one, it's intentional and not going back) is to report it as a bug feedback in the support/ticket system.

Do kro players not abuse the inifinite bolts from two elemental swords?

Its not the first time we've reported an exploit and kRO basically said that they haven't seen their players exploit it so therefore they won't dedicate development time to it. There is actually an impression some people have that kRO doesn't like Westerners because we find exploits. They have a different culture than we do.

i remember seeing a screenshot of some server (kRO or jRO) where people actually waited in line for one of the seal quests so that the npc wouldn't bug out or anything.
