I recently came back from a rather long hiatus. I wanted to buy VIP status for my RO accounts but everytime I click the power up button it sends me to another page and I get a "PAYMENT ERROR" pop up. I then get sent back to the homepage. Why cant I reach the powerup page?

Your account might have been flagged. Have the GM team clarify your WP account status by submitting a support ticket to the billing and payment department, make sure to state the exact error message you are receiving in the ticket.

I dont know how I could have been flagged, I have been gone for over a year. None the less I have done as you suggested and sent in a ticket.

As I have been told a few months ago, that error indicates a lock has been placed due to a strange access. Something like an unauthorized access or a drastic change with own IP address might have triggered the lock, but this is case by case. The Payment Department staff should be able to assist you properly with this matter.

Sorry for the necro but if anyone else is (still) having the same problem it seems to be browser specific. Error on desktop Chrome but works on MS Edge and oddly, iOS Chrome.
Edit: hang on, disabling your adblock should work
