Renewal: 14.3 Decisive Battle Bug Report Station

 

 
Going with the previous bug station format, please report bugs or findings you have encountered while checking out 14.3 update on renewal servers. Citations from kRO are preferred when reporting, videos and screenshots are also welcome.

Bugs & Findings:
[ Map/Monster/Item ]

• Monsters required to hunt for the Eliminating Risks quest are spelled wrongly. (Screenshots here) Fix 8/19 Both the name of the monsters in game and in quest were updated.
  
  VMod Edit 8/20: The spelling was corrected on the quest log, however the listing does not reflect the actual monster names. In game we have the following:
  Distorted Morroc Reincarnation ID# 3040 is listed as Morocc Twisted Vassal.
  Blazing Morroc Reincarnation ID# 3039 is listed as Morocc Fire Vassal.
  Freezing Morroc Reincarnation ID# 3041 is listed as Morocc Cold Vassal.
   
• The monsters at Sky Wave instance are named "Go!". (Intended?)
   
• Item Burning Bug Skin dropped by monster Fulbuk at a very low drop rate. (It is suggested to increase the drop rate, note: it is possible to steal from said mob)
   
• Treasure Boxes at the Sky Wave instance if killed by the instance Mercenaries they will drop nothing. (Intended? Would it be possible to make the Mercenaries not attack the Treasures?)
   
• In Temple of Demon God, Satan Morroc is spawned when a player enters the portal leading to where he is. When multiple characters enter at the same time, multiple Satan Morroc are spawned.
   
• In Sky Wave instance monsters display none localized message upon death.
  
   

[ Client/UI/NPC ]

• Sometimes the NPC text isn't said out loud in Jitterbug instance. (Wondering if this is due to nospam) Most likely not would need to find the specific lines.
   
• The New tab is not updated to reflect the current patch. (Click here for screenshot)
   
• Supplies department wood in morroc asks to collect wood and deliver it, but there is no pile of wood near him to take from. (Noticed the NPC that gives wood disappears and reappears after a set of time, need further observations)
   
• Client displays 23 characters of a monster's name only. (Samples here, could the limit be revised to show the names properly?)
   
• Typo on each Sky Wave announcement: Reday -> Ready.
   
• Mercenary of Sky Wave instance uses skill level 1 NPC_SUICIDE at the end of each wave, however the skill name is not translated properly. (Screenshot here).
   
• More NPC names inconsistency:
  aigu - igu
  ragi - lagi
  rohtert - rotert
  new oz - newoz
  jarute heslanta - jeruth hesranta

• The NewOz gears say equipable by "Minstrel" when it should say "Maestro". Fix 8/19
   
• Bio instance does not allow entry. (Need further tests) Under what conditions? The Bios Islaand bug would never have been noticed if the instance didn't allow anyone in.
   
• Possible issue with Morse Cave instance kicking players out to save point after finishing the party split phase successfully. (Demonstration video here) Instance checks for having a certain number of monsters alive in any of the rooms, then kicks out to prontera if too many monsters are alive. Looking at it its being a jerk but it is working.
   
• Item Token of Hero is spelled TokenOfHero. (Spaces are required, click here for screenshot) Fix 8/19
   
• RWC Memory Knife shows two slots while it should have only one. (Screenshot here, likely client issue and need a patch to correct it) Fix 8/19
   
• Clicking on ETC item TokenOfHero results in a sprite error. (Error screenshot here) Fixed
   
• Bios Island instance is spelled Bios Islaand. (Click here for screenshot) Fix 8/19
   
• Spelling error on the Wandering Purple Dragon Mercenary you get from the Demon God Temple quest, added an extra "e" to the word "Ego". (Screenshot here) Fix 8/19
   
• Item Ukulele Of Newoz [2] gives +400% to Arrow Vulcan if worn with the set ring Hero Ring Of Newoz [1]. (The issue is with Arrow Vulcan bonus being applied twice before and after wearing the ring, going with the item description the weapon should only give +200% to Arrow Vulcan with the set, however it need to be clarified if this is a description error or a bug) Fixed and Clarified in Client Patch 8/19
   
• Item Floral Mic Of Igu [2] gives +400% to Arrow Vulcan if worn with the set ring Floral Bracelet Of Igu [1].(Please see the above point) Fixed and Clarified in Client Patch 8/19
   
• Item #6717 HP stone(slot 2) and #6743 HP Stone(slot 2) names are almost identical with different HP enchants. (To avoid confusion the names should be changed to HP+50 stone(slot 2) and HP+1% stone(slot 2) per suggestion here) Renamed as suggested to HP+50 stone(slot 2) and HP+1% stone(slot 2) 9/9.
   
• Treasure Box at Sky Wave instance dropped Max HP enchant stone. (Intended? Could a full list of the drops be provided?)This is intended, drop list here.
   
• Name inconsistency between quest log of Doom Prayers and monster drops of Fire Basin.
  In the quest log Golem's Stone Teeth is Tooth Of FlameGolem in game. 
  In game item renamed to Golem's Fiery Stone Tooth 9/9.
  In the quest log Frilldora's Napes is Neck of FlameFrilldora in game. In game item renamed to Frilldora's Fiery Nape 9/9.
  In the quest log Scout journals is Patrol Log in game. Updated to say Patrol Log 9/9.
   
• Monster Fulbuk should be localized to Firebug. Fixed 9/9.
• NPC Shalosh of Nightmarish Jitterbug instance gender flips 1/3 the way through. Fix 8/19
   
• Aigu in eden is called "IGU" (yes in all caps) everywhere in Jitterbug instance. Fix 8/19
   
• The red flower NPC doesn't do anything when clicked on. (The red flower is for Morse Cave and to unlock the NPC Bios Island need to be cleared first)
   
• Thor server is missing 14.3 NPCs, at least the ones at Morroc. (Confirmed) Fixed
   
• Hibba Agip from New World is spelled Hiva Agip in 14.3 content. Which is the correct spelling for this character? Fix 8/19
   
• NPC Guardian Nidhogg is disabled due to an error with the server EXP reward script. Turning in the reward item Darklord Soulpiece from the Demon God Temple instance results in abnormal increase in server EXP. (Disabled by GM till further notice). Fixed, now gives proper 10% server EXP for 1 hour.
   
• Warlock job change NPC at morroc (102, 143) is currently inaccessible. (Resolved, now found at morroc (90, 144))
   
• NPC Expert Enchanter Byrnes at moro_cav does not detect accessory Hero Ring when worn. (Screenshot here). Fixed 9/9.
   
• Storage capacity reduced to 300 for none VIP accounts. (Being looked into, read here) Fixed 8/21, the extra storage for free accounts will be accessible till Sep 2nd.

I did the quest to enter the instance areas, I created instance for bios, when I tried to go in, it d/ced me. I can log into my account, but when I try to log on the character I get d/ced instantly.

 

I would like to be able to do the instance today, so please reset my instance when you fix my character.

Complaints with the localization of Nightmarish Jitterbug

• Shalosh's gender flips about 1/3 the way through.
• Aigu in eden is called "IGU" (yes in all caps) everywhere in the instance.
• Sometimes the NPC text isn't said out loud.
• The NewOz gears say equipable by "Minstrel" when it should say "Maestro".

Out of 4 instances, the only one I can enter is jitterbug. Bios disconnects you. The red flower which should be the demon god instance or the other instance doesn't do anything.

 

I've been doing a bunch of quests which I thought were to get into the instances, but I think they are experience quests, doing them on a 175 so got nothing.

Basically three of us went in. When we got to the part where Morroc splits the party up, it sent two of us to one room, and one person alone. Then after surviving it on all three characters with no deaths, it kicked us out to the Prontera safe spot. 

 

I have this recorded, just need to upload it to youtube. It was bizzare.

For Bios island, it might be that the leader is the one that gets d/ced, so if you go in try with other characters, then pass the lead to one of those characters when they are in.

Sorry, I forgot to mention you need to beat Bios Island to unlock Morse's Cave. Then when you beat the cave, you unlock Demon God.

Is anyone else able to get Scout journals from the sandmen in flaming basin? killed like 80 of them and haven't seen one journal.

isn't there a pile of bricks and wood near the south kafra in morroc? or is that where you're taking the quest?

Updated first post, please let me know if anything is out of order.

 

Disconnection issues inside the new instances should still be reported here. However, if there is a specific instance that is eating characters as in "not functioning properly" then report that here at once.
