Good day again guys/gals!

May I ask if how can I boost my EQ damage from FQL on GX... I'm planning on using a dual dagger - FQL and Ice Pick on my gx. What card(s) and stats would contribute to the EQ damage this item?

Thank you in advance!

EDP vastly increase your damage, size modifier applies( ie vs large monster u deal less than vs small), wATK and eATK, ice pick bonus eATK does not work, % gears. Frenzy doesnt work too. Remember EQ is split equaly by the amount of monsters caught on the skill, so hitting 5 monsters drop your damage to 1/5 on each. vs single target i remember to have dealt almost 20k/hit

The craziest way to amplify damage is to mix weapon/armor elements. The EQ that occurs is 'self-targetting' so, if you have Wind endow on your weapon, and you're wearing water armor, it should double your EQ damage. (As far as I am aware)

With my current setup on my DD GX, I am doing 32k per EQ with eddga proc, it's like double-dps when it procs. (without the endow trick, since this is on Timeholder)

I don't think any cards will increase damage. I haven't tried Magic% increasing cards, but I am not sure it would work/be worth it.

that weapon/armor element combo seems like it should be a bug, since the element of EQ isn't changing (and shouldn't afaik)

You think about it as your character punching itself. lols

Your weapon endow and gears, that increase or reduce elemental damage, affect your EQ damage. i.e. having wind endow + water armor will increase EQ damage. having wind endow + earth armor will decrease it. DR increases the dmg if your weapon has an element endow. EQ is still neutral when it hits anything surrounding you though.

I vaguely remember CEB increasing EQ dmg. Don't have a FQL anymore to test it.

Pardon for my stupidity and ignorance.. I dont exactly get what you mean..

Only FQL affect it? Dont apply to katar or any weapon?

It is just a dagger with faceworm queen proc earthquake high matk

How does it affect the element you are wearing when u are hitting someone else?o.O

yeah afaik the self-targetting thing extends to demi-human bonuses too, although since ceb both increases and reduces damage to/from demi-humans it'd be interesting to see what the interaction would be like.

Would reduce more than increase. Also fighting a demihuman target with kvm dagger will do horrendous damage

so is that confirmed that demi-human reductions and damage boosts affect eq damage? what about size modifiers and such?

EQ is basically you hitting yourself and splashing the damage you would take to your surroundings. The more damage you would inflict to yourself, the more damage your EQ does. Of course, you don't actually take damage yourself though, you are just used for calculating EQ damage.

the final damage splashed is neutral, but element is taken into consideration during calculation. The way EQ is made to work is probably why none of the higher tier ghost mvps don't possess EQ, like beelzebub and naght seiger. If they did have EQ, there wouldn't be any damage anyway.

If you could find some way to modify weapon element of bosses, you could probably tinker with their EQ damage too. Like say, if you could aspersio a valk randgris or something. Not sure if possible.
