people were getting like 80-100 mil per bmx3 when vip event was in and that was only like 2x rates. you don't need an hour to get an absurd amount of exp when rates are 30x.

Even though I got quite a lot of levels from this. I would agree on a rollback (whole server, not just exps).
This is just ridiculous to not roll back even though I expected that from you people's management skills.

Surely the majority of people online leveling at that time were doing it because that's when they do it. That is to say they would have been doing exactly the same thing even if the exp was normal ... it's not quite the same as abusing something is it?

 

They just got lucky.

Management just basically damned the rest of us by saying they're highly unlikely to do a rollback. Oda just said it, and even the mods can't deny that now. If this isn't the mistake that's going to provoke the second greatest rage-quit mass exodus in iRO history, then I don't know what will.

realtalk though, this needs to be fixed today or the turn in for the exp event disabled because otherwise people will just do this on the weekend when no one is in the office to manually intervene lol.

There's been a lot, like, a LOT of screw ups, a lot that's still unforgivable that was yet to be answered for. I've been keeping a small catalogue of those events. I don't really care if other people quit or not, since I plan to stick around a little longer. Some people don't really bother to remember, so it should be fine right now, isn't it?
