The EQ also is a nice bonus when it procs, I've had it shorten timeholder fights by 30~45 seconds when it procs decently.

This actually happened to me when I was against Big Bells at Nightmare Clocktower. I was testing which dagger combination works better: A. +11 RWC Memory Knife [1] with +5 Beholder Ice Pick, B. +11 RWC Memory Knife [1] with 2x Beholder, 2x Skel Worker +6 Sandstorm or C. Beholder Ice Pick with + 2x Beholder, 2x Skel Worker +6 Sandstorm. Based on my observation, Option C displayed the highest damage output so far . Hit Rate is a different question, haha
If it has horrendous def, u can just use IP main and 4 slots offhand
In relation to the DD Double Attack vs DD Critical discussion. Here are my "thoughts and observations " so far but feel free to debunk me
1. Which Does Better?
- Depends on your character stats. A pure DD Double Attack favors more Dex while a pure DD Crit favors more LUK.
- DD Crit favors more on MVP killing while DD Double Attack favors more on Non-MVP killing? I'm a DD Double attack user and I can deal damage to MVPs but not as awesomely high as DD Crit users. I haven't seen a DD Crit user dealing with non-mvps so far but maybe they switch to katars?
- A monster's Hit Rate is very important for me. I've tried a pure katar crit build in the past and I saw myself in a bloody slug fest with an Angra Mantis or Lichterns (I'm not sure if this experience is consistent with DD Crit users). When I shifted towards DD Double Attack build focusing on Dex, I can stand toe-to-toe with them.
2. Which is more feasible?
- I haven't started my DD Crit GX yet so no opinions so far.
3. Costs?
- I guess costs is subjective towards the user but here is my analogy:
- - If you're a pure DD Double Attack GX you invest on equips, cards, supplies that increases your Hit Rate
- - If you're a pure DD Critical GX, you invest on equips, cards, supplies that increases your Crit Rate

But rather than gears for hit rate, I feel that it's more like gears for FS enchants mainly, since you get both atk and hit rate together... you probably don't want to sacrifice firepower and only get hit rate I guess.

I dont think you would ever try but, for bio3/4, u can hit everyone but stalker/assassin/sniper/gypsy easily.

Eh, you could always wait out agi up. Backslide away by like 5 screens and hope some gen doesn't show up to bomb it in the mean time. Or something.

yeah you can do that in ET or mvp summoner but out in the wild it's a tough ask if you're facing potential competition. more often than not you'll just end up softening the mvp for some gene to ninja.

Yes, which is why I said something about hoping 'some gen doesn't show up to bomb it'.

So you mean you've got it down to 9 minutes?
Cool.

you level as a DA DD? seems like RC would be faster. DD Crit is an end game build mainly for mvping, you're not going to really ctrl click your way to 175.
I do level with RC for mob control. I just switch to DD Double Attack when dealing with few monsters
At level 168 ish, I get 20~25% with double exp + vip and BMx3 in 30 minutes at nightmare CT by mobbing with RC, and if you ctrl + click it'll take ages @_@;
But rather than gears for hit rate, I feel that it's more like gears for FS enchants mainly, since you get both atk and hit rate together... you probably don't want to sacrifice firepower and only get hit rate I guess.
I see. Thanks for the suggestion
