I am currently lvl 118! Just to thank you all, because not only did you help me, but i was also able to help other new crusaders in game from the info i gathered!

 

Now im back for some more advice. What do you think: Prestige or Vanguard? which gives higher def? Thanks1

For Def/Mdef or overall reduction purpose, Prestige, but it is hard to maintain the skill because it has a short up time and you need to recast it.
I dont mention the SP costs.
Vanguard stays forever. You can activate and deactivate it like you want it.

Hey guys, any idea to boost up my OB dmg? I have a +7 hunting spear with AS (kingbird). Im at high TI and it takes be 4-5 OBs to kill anything at lvl 128/34 (from 1 shotting in mid ti).

 

stats are 

str 97 (working on 120 now)

ag 60

vit 90

dex 90

L and I = 1

 

sweet cat hand glovex2 (snowier for heals), +9 immune HBP, +9vana, +4rosa shield, variants, +4 unfrozen orleans armor

 

Im working on 120 str to get str temp boots --> btw what enchants should i get on those (bear or muscle fool)?

And what other gear should i grab first that would make a bigger impact on my dmg?

The AS Hunting Spear is from your LK/RK or why did you card a HS with AS Card for a Royal Guard?? o_O

FS Enchant it. Best get 2x HS, 1 with Skel Worker and one with Minorous Card, if you cant efford multiple Race carded ones.
Rest seems fine for now.
I used Sprint Set + Expert Ring with Phen with my very first Royal Guard with a Triple HF Carded Zephyrus FS6 xD (Having a Endow Slave of course). It wasnt thaaaat bad back then but now you have a lot of better options. Your gear seems fine and you really need those ACCs for Ice Cream Healing, do you??

Another Option could be a Thanos Spear with Hunterfly Card, so your Vana + Weap would be enough for now and you could use a alternative source of healing, having 2 potantional ATK increasing gears free. Anything With G. Scara Card, Adv. Rofl or if on a budget even 2x Vesper Core 2.

Do you use a second AoE? Moon Slasher + OB Combo can help you sometimes.

I got the spear for cheap one time when looking for gear, i will work on the HS with mino and skel.

 

As for accessories --> should i focus on spending the money for 2 Advs Rofl or just wait on RWC or those honor badge ones (dont think will be able to afford those Gscarabs anytime soon )?

 

Should i use some points in to get Cannon spear maxed or stick with moon slasher?

 

I might just started saving up for Witch hat combo for healing instead just to save some slots and use the hunting spears (that attack is so much more!)

With under 120 STR and W/O Imp spear and any practice with the skill i would keep it simple and stupid. Means: MS+OB Combo (MS gets Buffed if Overbrand is level 5). + you can use the skill if you are facing Position Lags/Bugs to see where you are actual standing or to Flee, because you have a chance to let your enemies immobilized.

RWC with ATK% or FS would be awesome if you could get them. I would go with ATK%. Thanks to SS1 its easy to obtain 400+ e+wATK. MoH are good too. You could get your Adv. RofL yourself, if you have original Rofl or can get them somewhere cheap and do the Eden Synthesis Quests. I dont know about your current budget and how much you actually want to spend on your Royal Guard.

Thanks for the reply! My budget is ongoing. This is my first and only character i will work on till likely as high as i can (hopefully 175). So right now i just want to prioritize which items to get first that would benefit me the most....

 

What is, "SS1 its easy to obtain 400+ e+wATK"? sorry newb at the terminologies.

 

How well do the MoH fair between them? As they are probably a lot cheaper...

 

And yeah i just found out about the synthesis quest, so im working on the crystals just incase hehe.

Shield Spell 1.
If you do not have it yet, absolutely get it now as a priority skill. Cross Shield, Rosa Shield, Giant Shield + Shield Spell 1 = 130 Extra ATK

Yea, then get the MoH´s for now, if you can get them cheaper/easier then the other options

Out of curiosity, How much do RWC pendant and rings cost these days? and cost to enchant them?
