Hi guys i need some clarification regarding upgrading equipment i currently have a +10 Headgear and want to try to upgrade it but upon reading the chat from the NPC it says that if the refinement fails while using HD carnium/bradium it will only degrade by one level however. i saw some post awhile ago that if u refine a +10 while using hd carnium/bradium that the equipment will not go below +10 is this true? i play on iRO chaos renewal server.. if this is true then why does the npc say that it will degrade if i fail?? thanks guys

If you refine on Mighty Hammer with a +10 gear, and use HD Carnium/Bradium it does not go below +10 if it fails.

so thats true? i was just wondering cus mighty hammer said it will degrade 1 level if he fails
