Before Forgotten Payon Update.
"We do raid or party" to obtain Cazar Gears from Himmelmez Chamber, Silent Corridor, Assassin Sanctumn & Greedy Mine. And it's "FUN"

After Forgotten Payon Update.
My ML 20 Warrior with osiris gear and all bind +50 just need solo run osiris dungeon (you can grinding all day on Eddga Juniors spot with ML35) to earn MP and EXCHANGE it to NPC. It's "BORED" you know.

Before Jawaii Update.
"We do RAID or PARTY" to obtain Eddga Gears from Dailies to earn Eddga Coin and Eddga Gears from Boss if we luck. We enjoy that and it's "FUN" we can communicate with our Raid mate.

After Jawaii Update.

CONGRATULATIONS! Devs make Dungeon & Forgotten Payon definitely be "FORGOTTEN".

So please, remove Cazar & Eddga gears from NPC Mastery Point or Blood Point Exchange.

Wow, you are VERY funny indeed..

1 Thing for sure, when Serenia set gears released, people won't event bother to get Eddga set.

Why get Eddga when a week later (ML 40) you'll sell it to NPC?

It's a waste of time and effort because most people will try to get Serenia ASAP.

 

Now you're suggesting that player MUST do WEEKS of daily Q to get 1-2 pcs of Eddga.

While they can reach ML40 in a less than a week.

Nuff said..

 

This is why i agree with the dev decision to purchase Eddga from MP.

I completely disagree with devs decisions!

I agree that once the new content is released old one need to be a bit easier to get or it will be simply skipped

but buy it for MP means completely skip all.

So I will keep my idea that they had to lower a bit the difficulty of said dungeons or/and make the drop rate higher (or cheaper eddgar coins prices)

to make it wort. You can still gear up without skipping all the content buit in a fastets way so that newer players can catch the older players at the end of the game.

The game doesn't grown if the old content is just forgotten!

Don't you think newcomer players?
They even don't know how to acces old raid dungeon.
This game shouldn't be only endgame content for veteran players.
Just do WOE with much bugs, imbalance class and wait for some gears update?
Make another char and skiped all content cause you can easily get nice gear with MP exchange?
Grinding all day long?
What a bored thing.

5 stat points each level up, is it worth?
You can't getting stronger if you didn't gear up right?
Just imagine what if Devs didn't implemented cazar gear from MP Exchange after FP update.
You're still used your old Himmelmez's Gear.
Another option you can try to do Cazar Gear hunting on dungeon for free.
Grinding & do FP daily with Himmelmez's gear would be challanged part.
And after jawaii update, what if Devs didn't implemented Eddga Gears from MP Exchange too?
You're too lazy do FP daily to get eddga gears? Are you sure still used your old Himmelmez's gears for Jawaii daily?

Lower the coins required to purchase eddga, i can deal with that.

But it has to be extremely cheap. Around 40-80 coins each (1-2 days of daily Q)

Longer than that, people will skip it completely.

I won't even bother to spend weeks to collect the Eddga set when i can use my cazar to reach ML40 (Include farming Serenia materials) in less than a week.

Spend 2 hours in Osiris on the weekends, receive free Eddga set. (Un?)fortunately, enough people are now full Eddga due to the MP exchanger that removing the equipment from NPC's would simply inhibit newer players' gear progression. This suggestion will do nothing to address the issue of grind-oriented gameplay.

The way i see it, Eddga is just another "Lich Gear" for Rank A.

When Dark Whisper first released, people just skip Lich Set and go straight for Himmelmez.

You know exactly why.

Now, just because FP (ML 30 - 35) and Jawaii (ML 36 - 40) are separated, you think Eddga should be worth something.

I think not, It's just another filler patch so people has something to do.

People who complained are usually the ones who hoarding Eddga Coins for serious money, and now their coins are just worthless.

They just want their steady cash flow back.

Right, some people may collect eddga coin for serious money.
How about MP farmers? Grinding all day long like a bot on Eddga Jr spots.
Exchanged MP and sell it at AH, earns some gold and sell it for real money. What's the different?
They even taking our leveling spots.

Makes FP bosses drop serenia materials just give a chance for farmers place.
They may doesn't give a chance for people who do dailies.

Honestly, i'm totaly agree with Shinyusuke idea.
Lowered coin Eddga gears required.
It make worthless for coin farmers too if Eddga same as Lich.
With serenia gears update, why don't makes eddga gears would be an option.
If we want for some low quality eddga gears, we still can do FP daily.
So we doesn't skiped old content.

That's my opinion guys. Sorry if I'm wrong. Just feel free to discuss. This is an open forums rite?

Back then, when cazar was a drop only, it was hard for some people to attain gears and/or weapon for their class for reasons of (1) the price of each gear or weapon was more than the zenny they have or (2)the demand for the gear or weapon was so high that its hard to find seller or (3) the drop rate for specific gear or weapon was so low that its hard to find seller (4) a combination of any that I have mentioned. Personally, having cazar and eddga accesible through MP allows :

• new players to take advantage of dapara week purchasing their Cazar  and/or Eddga gears and weapons in preparation for FP & Jawaii 
• players to sell cazar and/or eddga weapons and gears at much more lower price compare to its previous price allowing players who opt for spending their MP to level up to be able to afford cazar and/or eddga weapons and gears
• coins to be sold back to NPC at 10 zenny each (or double the value if you use Volubilities of Merchants)

Yes it does not necessarily address the issue of grind-oriented gameplay but it allows players, specifically new players or casual players who do not have zeny to spend, to have a fair go in trying. 

There is always a premium price to be first. I am sure you have notice the cost of Queen's aura at present. Over time, I believe the price will go down much lower. Just like Osi mats back then.

eddgar and cazar as a sure drop from bosses and bosses nerfed a bit to make them a bit fasters more than easier to do:

- no additional grind to buy them

- bosses and dungeon still a must to obtain them instead of skipping them

- lower prices since the gears are easier to obtain but you still need a few runs

- something different to do except grinding this would probably call back the players that likes dungeons and bosses mechanics

- less bottable opportunity, you can't use a bot to fight a boss but you can do it to grind in a steady place

- less ask for grinding boost, more reasons to do them bosses and dungeons at the right level since you not only obtain gears but also exp

- something else to do in the weeks with no dapara exp events to level up

why do you want leave cazar as it is? there are 2 dungeons that are "forgotten" since cazar is buyable trought MP

Probably not a systematic way since they are not the same series of equipment.

Firstly of all, is nice to see tht eddga wep n eq can exchange by mlp where all the others new commer of the player in game can really enjoyed the sweet pie the game given. Well...the bad things was, all the old player n hardcore player eventually feel piss off which we had investment so much time n money or zenny or resources we used in eddga.
Furthermore, the new eq and wep in the jawaii. Why n wht will it be happening if after a few months later, the require material can be exchanged also by mlp?? Will tht happen? I really wondering. advise?
