Hi Guys! i am a "soon to be mechanic" and i have some questions!

I hear that the best boots for madou mechanic are Temporal Dex boots and Enhanced Variant Shoes.
Now, my question is. If i were to buy Temporal Dex boots, should i buy slotted?(TempDex[1]) or unslotted with enchants?
And if yes what enchants are better?
I was thinking TempDex Speed of light, EA4.

Last Question: Which of the 3 boots i mentioned is better for mado. And if it has a slot, is firelock one of the best card solutions??

i prefer tempStr over TempDex. that extra str is really handy since we need to bring lot of stuff for skills. Plus, temp dex with 120 dex is kinda a waste since your arm cannon, which is your main dps, cant miss and if you want to kill mvp, you will use AC3 which only have 0.2 fixed cast time. the 0.5 fixed cast time redux is still pretty sexy for AC2 spam tho. So there is that. and yeah, the range damage is pretty neat, cant argue with that. But i am pretty sure with the large amount of wAtk (pile bunker ftw), 120 str, it will cover up the 5% increase by tempDex.

maybe tempStrEA? as for the 2nd enchant, you can go with BP>HE>SoL. remember, even tho most of our skill is range, we are still holding a mace or axe. So our damage come from str, not dex.

also, i personally feel that enchant benefit mech better than % increase in hp and sp, unless you are trying to kill thing with SD.

i always wear temp dex with 120 dex on my mech. instacast level 2 arm cannon is pretty much increasing your DPS.
if using temp str you do 120k dmg arm cannon in 1 sec (counting also cast and delay).
and temp dex will give about 90k dmg arm cannon in 0,5 sec. so in 1 sec the dmg from temp dex is 180k. which is bigger than temp str.

welp. yeah. it is very sexy with AC2. and from the look of it, it is better. But remember, spam AC2, not AC3 :3

I took the big step and bought Temporal Dex Boots Hawkeye/ea4 for 90mil.
Is the hawkeye/ea4 combo any good or should i try finding DEX boots with bear power/ea4 or speed of light/ea4?

err, why hawkeye? it drains your SP pretty fast. the only application when hawkeye is crucial for mechanic is for knuckle boost and vulcan arm since their dmg modified heavily by dex.
for arm cannon i prefer temp dex ea4 bear power. some people might not love the motion delay when turning into bear, but it can give u 50%-100% arm cannon dmg increase.

among other enchants, the only 3 choice that can benefit you is Bp, HE, and SoL. In term of usefulness, BP>HE>SoL. and LD is located somewhere between those 3. But tempDexBP/EA is kinda pricey :v

side note: i only love SoL for PD :s

So.... TempDex BP/EA4 is the way to go? i Guess i will have to sell my newly acquired hawkeye tempdex boots!


I was wondering. since i will equip a shield (immune shield) on my MadoMechanic, wont it be better if i played  TempDex Sol/EA4?

^ if it is me, i will keep that boots. And get another one for BP. 

and may i know why would you love Sol so much?

I was thinking that if i Equip a shield the DPS will become lower. But Sol will make it stable again because of the 100% ASPD.
Is this thought wrong? i would really love an explanation since i am a new player.

okay. DPS mean damage per second. Total amount of damage that you deal in 1 second.  

As a mado mech, you only need aspd for animation delay, which i assure you, isnt that important compare to your cast time. So in short, you dont really need high aspd for mado mech, unless you are going hybrid (mado+ aspdcrit axe).

so, dont bother to use SoL. I personally love SoL since i love PD. but for you, Bp, LD, or HE might be better.

if HE proc, you will get instant cast, which is nice. That why i think HE is okay. But this can be ignore since you will get 120dex and high int which give you pretty fast cast. thus, Bp will give you more dps than HE since that 200str will give you huge amount of atk.
