Quite alot of the time recently when vending overnight or leaving a few clients on at the same time, they all DC and i get the above error message

 

Not sure if anyone knows what causes this or what it relates to? as my connection is stable and everytime it comes up with this error?

 

is this caused by another player?

Do you use Windows 10? I know it has a memory leak issue or something. So I think overnight your client is crashing because windows thinks it is out of memory, and it starts trying to close out programs that are using a large amount of your system memory.

Hey Callum. This for some reason will only progressively get worse until maps start breaking and things start to fail to patch from my own experience. A fresh install would be in order. That seemed to fix the issue for a long time for me.

The error window is Win10 style, so that is probably it

I had this happen to me a lot before windows 10... Which is strange , and I've just switched PC so a new install has happened - don't really not what to suggest

All I can think of is that would it be another player causing this crash / error - as a lot of shops around the same area seem to be gone when I've crashed out too... Just a thought?

Yea, that is strange. It could possibly be someone who is causing it, and found a way to TRose people again.

But I would need to catch the error my self, and see what caused it.

I have had this happen to me on a PC using Windows 8, and it was a fresh install.

it is possible that the patch became corrupted on one specific item, and it's causing a client mismatch with the server resulting in errors + crashes.

It could be a number of things, but a fresh install is always good, and easy.
 

1) Uninstall Rose Online

2) Delete the remaining Rose directory

3) Reinstall the game

 

This should clean up a large portion of issues.

Thanks for the advice guys ! I'll give it a go , but I definitely am leaning towards the idea that a player can cause this

It is entirely possible. It was done in the past, so it makes sense that it could happen in the future.

re installed etc and still getting exactly the same error - so annoying!!
