If anything, TI mobs that sometimes have opposite elements will make it harder than their natural habitat.

No I think the conflicting elements help ranger which can one shot most mobs with neutral element, while other jobs need to exploit elements to do competitive damage.

Really no point in putting jokes here about a joke class like expanded ninja, especially since they're going to be receiving that ridiculous nerf to pure soul, which will make them completely useless in every aspect of the game.

Aren't we comparing the difficulty between TI and natural habitat? How come it comes down to ranger being 'OP' again?

I'm just stating the gramps ti system inherently favors rangers where other classes face adversity in order to contradict a prior statement that the conflicting elements in a TI make it more challenging -- but instead reinforces the status quo.

Ah yes, I noticed. The purpose of my inquiry, however, was to clarify your response to my prior statement.

Because earlier, I was responding to a sentiment that leveling in TI maps requires no strategy as opposed to, I assumed, the natural maps. But then, the subsequent counter argument to my post was that a ranger is the facile princeps when it comes to TI. So I had some difficulty in finding the relation between our two posts.

Apologies if it wasn't a continuation to the earlier debate.

Hopefully after your second review you've come to understand, then. Glad I could clarify that for you.

It sounds like we are in agreement, at any rate. Turn ins aren't challenging and aren't designed to teach players how to overcome challenges. And there us no incentive to learn to fight the monsters in their natural habitats since the map size and spawn concentrations in TI force their efficiency on everyone at an alarming level.

So GMs trying to make TIs more challenging by pairing opposed elements are being counter productive; as they encourage brute force damage like arrow storm that requires no elememtal strategy or gear race optimizing. And instead of such a dungeon being inefficient due to those factors, they heavily incentivize it with spawn concentration and map size, with count quests.

Basically they (our GMs) create rangerok online.

Er, I still disagree that TI is not challenging. Although, it's definitely more convenient than leveling at natural maps.
