So I have a lvl 99 Vanil pre homu, He is currently neutral status, I've been trying to get him to cordial for the last week. I've been feeding him at 24% and stopping at 74% But he still isn't cordial. It worries me, because  he's still gaining exp, and even though that is natural I know if  he hits lvl 100 before he is a homu s he will lose stat points? What can i do?

you should stop leveling the homunc if you are already a geneticist since it WILL be permanently gimped if you level it past 99 without first turning it into a homunc S. just feed it in town while you afk and check back every hour or so. i also thought you could let the hunger go lower than 24 but it's been a while since i was actively feeding homuncs.

honestly there's no point keeping him out at all anyway, he's not going to be much help while you go around killing stuff as a third class.

The most effective way to feed your homunculus is from 24% to 34% every 10 mins. I know it's tedious but he gains 33% more loyalty per feeding that way (1.00 from feeding when 11%-24%, 0.75 when feeding from 25%-75%). It should only take about a week if you feed this way, but of course many people don't have the time to sit and feed their homunculus every 10 mins. It needs to become a homunculus S first, so you don't have to worry about the EXP it gains.

Yeh i took him from  the map i was lvling on to popo island, just to keep him from gaining too much exp

I'll try that then and change his ai setting to low for atk.

Do not allow him to reach level 100 before changing to homun S! 

 

You will permanently miss out on max hp and sp (stats will be fine with vani base, but they almost always are anyway - but hp - and especially sp growth as homun S is *much* higher) if you let it level past 99 as pre-S. 

 

Feed it in town instead of on field map to ensure that this does not happen.
