Nothing happens when magnifying glass is clicked.  Trying to disable chat pop up and redirect it to main dialogue window.  Not sure if this is a bug or something I'm doing but it's annoying (note I recently reinstalled RO and this has been happening since).  

 

Edit:  I'm also unable to access the party options menu so i can't switch to share/take.

Which window were you in when you clicked on the magnifying glass? You need to be in the Friend window and then click on the Friend Setup (magnifying glass). Disable the first two options and you're good to go. My sounds are disabled by default so the third option is up to you.

Yeah I am.  I've done this many times, I'm not sure what's up.

The setup window is likely spawning off screen. Try to move the main window a little away from the screen edge, see if that resolves your issue.

All this while I thought you had an issue with the button itself. Do what Cinnamon suggested and if you are playing in windowed mode but at a smaller resolution, I suggest you try a higher resolution. This should show you the hidden window if its away from the screen and towards the edges in its native resolution.
