I am loving my kagerou right now 99/15 @ Thor Server and I am planing to main it. 

 

This is for PVM/MVP/Instances/Casual WOE only(probably during defense only)

Please also advise what are the gears (yeah starting gears for leveling up in TIs, i have 1.5b right now) for hybrid Kagerou my magics are for defense purpose only (watery/blaze/castmagic) so my main damage will be KE/SP. I will start doing instance/hunt MVP maybe after 130ish?

 

btw do i need to have a different EQs for KE and SP?

+4 Basic EQs immune/verit/champion

phen/heal/tele clips

KE get boosted damage from Dagger Throwing Practice by a noticeable margin. Shadow Trampling only works on WoE/PvP thus I've never really try them except in KvM. Never used Water Evasion so I can't comment on it. Ninja Aura is easily outshone by foods.

KE/SP is okay-damage dealer and gives more versatility, but DPS-wise you should stick with maxed tier one ninja skills (Flaming Petals/Freezing Spear).

Ideal tactics would be maining a Grimtooth with EA4/5+ enchant and racial/size/elemental/kingbird Main Gauche off hand then quickly switch to racial/kingbird Swirling Petal to keep the DPS coming then switch back to dual dagger to KE again. Otherwise just stick to Swirling Petal Huuma and KE with it (esp while leveling).

Both HBP or FAW are good, but HBP ofc gives better survivability, pretty ideal for leveling. Haven't tried the new hero shoes, but atm I'm using a Sup E.Var to make up for Ninja low HP pool. Accessories, there's not much alternatives I can recommend except RWC Rings/RT/Glorious Ring/etc. I don't know if Ninjas can use the new pendants or not.

Headgear choices may vary but far as I know EMH is your best bet (haven't compare it to Airship Captain tho), with resistance BDM along.

If you're referencing the Pendants of Harmony and Chaos, unfortunately the description says they are restricted to 3rd classes. :-(

I know it would have been nice for a Ninja class to use them. They are very powerful so I can understand some of their logic.

Wow Thanks alot! ill invest for the grimtooth in the future and for now stick with my huuma and the 110 huuma for leveling until i get to 130 then maybe start MVPing and doing some instance.

 

I am still at low TI maybe until i get my job level to 30. by that time i have max KE and Illusion Shadow already

 

so what are the good cards and armor combo for KE/SP build for leveling?

For instances, you could start doing hazy earlier, maybe 120 or 125ish if you opt for level 10 Flaming Petals. Wear a Peco Tenebris and ~100% cast reduc and start wrecking Mantis/Parus/Pom.

You don't need KE so early. Heck, you only need a few charms, 5 Swirling Petal, 3 16th Night, 5 Pure Soul, 1 Shadow Hiding, 1 Illusion Shadow (total of 15+ job levels) to really start mid TI. You'll be disappointed with your KE damage if you take it too early.

Armor is pretty much self-explanatory. If you can afford Geffen Magic Robe, it's currently our best armor. But for utility, you might want unfrozen, elemental, peco, or porcellio Tenebris. Special Ninja Suit also works. Tenebris requires more practice as its proc is quite a lot.

what are the 100% reduction EQs...and if i dont have FAW or HBP (i cannot find selling a +9) what is the good replacement?

there's no such thing faw/hbp replacement, they're too damn good xD

also, you don't really stack 100% reduction for EQ. most MvPs with deadly skills usually have some cast time (and it ranges from 5~10 secs!) so you can counter it with silversmith bracelet. keep it handy

FAW is so expensive in thor its 3b-4b for the +9 
Its really hard to find an accessory for expanded. class bako tattoo is also expensive lol

ima make him 125 next week so i can try some instances. 

 

What are the limits of expanded jobs, can we access all the instances? and can we do it solo?

 

Will also add slot to RoboEye. i am having a hard time going to the person in juperos. died like 8x already lol.

Glorious Ring is practically an all-round wonder accessory.

Up till this point, we should be able to enter all instances available (I'm not sure about the 160+ ones, my Kagero's been 150 since forever) but not all are possible to solo. My 150 throwing Kagero haven't tried stuffs newer than OGH (only Ghost Palace but that instance is downright ez), while my 120 magic Kagero can do Geffen Tourney up to Sorc (need more level/damage stuffs).

Awesome! So i think my adventure with my kagerou would be challenging and super fun!

Ok so we can wear medal of honor thief + glorius ring!

will save my zenny for that and maybe +9 petal huuma still have 300m ill make a super novice with oc/dc so ill not be tempted to use another char if i make a merch lol
