If you reported being hacked, they will usually lock the account while they investigate.

No I just reported a hacker is all. But wasn't sure which ticket to use. Since there was no drop down that said anything in correlation to reporting hackers. But I already spoke with Oda yesterday about it. And everything seemed fine. I just don't want this to be part of that scammers tricks. Cuase he was able to change my password and get into my acct. But I was able to crack it since he didn't make it too difficult.

Usually the hacker(not really a hacker) uses your characters to then attempt to gain access to other accounts in game. Normally the GM team locks down any accounts that he logs in on, checks to see if stuff is missing and then releases the accounts.

There has been no reply to any of the two tickets i submitted yesterday in regard to the attack. Can someone please check on this?

Can any GM or CM assist me here? I just want to know my accounts are in good hands and not in that fake Oda scammers grasp again.

But is that the message you get when your account has been locked out. Because I checked my tickets regarding the hack attack i got yesterday and there has been no reply at all saying "we are going to temporarily lock your acct so we can investigate" or anything of that sort. That is why I am fretting.

that message is what you receive when the gms lock down your account for whatever reason, be it to perform an investigation or an account suspension.

like I said, scammers can't do that.

Ok it just alarmed me because i got no notification. Now i'm worried that I've been suspended because there was no reply about an investigation.

Just got into the office so I have access to tools (I was replying from home earlier) I have released the account and randomized the password youll need to reset the password but you should be good to go. It looks like the bad guy tried to use your characters to scam other people.

Not as far as I know. Most likely the report was old and from before but the GM team still secures the accounts just in case.

I think my respect for the management just went up by a tiny, teeny, weeny, little notch. Someone working at home is a sign of being industrious (either that or project cramming at the last minute…).

You just have to wait and let the GM team do their job. Check your support account every few hours to see if they replied with a reason as to why the account was under a temporary ban.  It may take a while as they check your a/c to see if anything is missing or (assuming your a/c got hacked) if the culprit tried to scam others or managed to infiltrate your other accounts using the current one, etc.,

 

Just be patient and they will resolve your issue. Also, can Cinnamon lock this topic since its a necro.
