Patch Notes v583

 

Pirate Event Updates
Two new items for the Pirate Event have been added:

• For 250 Ancient Pirate Coins, you can grab the Captain's Eyepatch!
• For 500 Ancient Pirate Coins, you can grab the Pirate Flag!
  Big thanks to our community member, Feuer, for submitting the Pirate Flag!

Also, with the exception of the Pirate Thief Bug Captain, Thief Bugs in Orlo, will appear at random to try and steal your loot from local monsters as you defeat them!

 

The Talk Like a Pirate Event will begin on Tuesday 15th September, and run until the end of Wednesday 30th September.  More details about the event will be posted soon.

Item Mall
The Captain's Booty is now available for purchase. The chest contains 1 random [color] ROSE Captain's Eyepatch, including the original, which is now named the "Pink ROSE Captain's Eyepatch"
There is Pink, Red, Blue, Gold, Green, Violet and a White ROSE Captain's Eyepatch.

And through discussion, we did not want to take away from the original item's value or impact, so we've added an Eyepatch for each stat.

• Pink ROSE Captain's Eyepatch [Dexterity 45] [Movement Speed 60]
• Blue ROSE Captain's Eyepatch [Intelligence 45] [Movement Speed 60]
• Gold ROSE Captain's Eyepatch [Concentration 45] [Movement Speed 60]
• Green ROSE Captain's Eyepatch [Charm 45] [Movement Speed 60]
• Violet ROSE Captain's Eyepatch [Strength 45] [Movement Speed 60]
• Red ROSE Captain's Eyepatch [Sense 45] [Movement Speed 60]
• White ROSE Captain's Eyepatch [All Stats 10] [Movement Speed 60]

And as you can expect, the Back-to-School event has ended, so all the Back-to-School items have been removed from the Item Mall.

 

Bug Fixes

• Corrected Flamberge craft so that it should now correctly appear within Weapon Crafting at level 5.
• The Cap Item "Devil Wing" has been renamed to "Devil Wing Hat" to avoid possible confusion with a back item with the same name.
• The Cap Item "Succubus Wing" has been renamed to "Succubus Wing Hat" to avoid possible confusion with a back item with the same name.
• Most summons should no longer endlessly chase a target and tether at a decent range from its master.
• Corrected issue with spawn protection mechanic in Akram Arena not teleporting players back to their spawn area.

I think the Violet ROSE Captain's Eyepatch [Dexterity 45] [Movement Speed 60] should be Strength 45.

The pink is not listed, because it has existed in-game for a while, these are just the new colored ROSE Captain's Eyepatch.

Ah, shoot, you're right, that was an oversight and mistake. Unfortunately, also made it in to the patch that way! I'll see if I can fix it quickly.
 

 

Update: So, the patch was replaced with the correct files. If you don't see the correct stat on the Violet Eyepatch, you should be able to use the "check all" feature in the patcher to redownload it.

It'll stay in as long as the Pirate Event goes on, and then soonest maintenance we have once it ends, it'll be removed. So, expect October 1st to be deadline.

The Pirate event starts on Sept 15. While the event is running, the coins will drop from any monster that is around your level.

Once it starts, you will have to hunt on Orlo, maybe some of the stronger mobs in Sikuku Ruins will still be in your range as well. The event starts on the 15th, so keep your shorts on.

and shouldn't the CHA mask have a higher value on it, considering it has no direct combat potential? [which was why all the sub stats are max stat 20, but CHA max'd at 30?]

Another minor oversight, the tooltip for the Hats boxes in IM still say Succubus Wings, Devil Wings.
