It's not a bad shout, I suppose it depends on who I'm going up against in TI this week. My wind and water armors aren't in orleans, so for this weeks low TI I would either need to buy an orleans or go phen.
What I was thinking is that having a phen amp wouldn't be a waste, as I gather that's generally how rangers roll too?

say you are level 150 and have 100 dex and 100 agi. so your SR dmg per hit is (100 dex+100 agi)% * 150/100 = 300%.
in second condition, it takes 300% dmg per hit but using the attack power of +200 dex.
in 3rd condition, the dmg formula buffed up becomes (300 dex + 100 agi)% * 150/100 = 600% and it is further buffed by +200 dex extra attack power making it really powerful.
I paid a bit more attention and what happened was the following:
Normal cast of Severe Rainstorm: 7~8k per hit
Hawkeye proc in the middle: damage is increased to 14k per hit
While previous Hawkeye was still active, cast another SR: Stil 14k per hit
Hawkeye proc during this second buffed SR: 22k per hit
So, it indeed stacks the buff 2 times

it is not being double buffed.
i cast SR, in the middle of SR, hawkeye activated, goes from 9k to 14k. then SR is over but the hawkeye still there, then you cast another SR while thee hawkeye from previous SR is still there, the dmg will become 22k. it is not doubled, it is the same hawkeye used in two different condition.
if u still confused, try on eggs, do it over and over until you get the grasp of the concept of SR and hawkeye.

btw, i forgot, there is 4th condition. it happens when you have HE on, then u cast SR and then the HE goes off while SR still running. the dmg will be (still taking account of my example previously) 600% atk but without +200 dex power.

Could I get some feedback on where to look at improving this for "solo-ability"?
This is what I've created so far. I have a +7 Kingbird Elven Bow to go on when I turn 100, then at 130 I'll probably switch to a +7 Kingbird Bow of Storm. Using converters where appropriate.
Depending on the element, I can also use an Orleans with a regular sound amp. I just had a 10 minute run in low TI, 150 fwings saw me use 75 ranked condensed whites and bag a whopping 14% base exp. I assume with more practice I can improve those numbers further.
I'd like to shoot for a +9 DR FAW with EA which I can use on several chars, but that's a little while off .

Your priority should be getting dex boots and 120 base dex; instant cast will lead to you getting hurt a lot less, and faster dps.

If you still have a free reset from mesmerist i'd use it. 120 dex increase eficiency of this build way too much. Just pumping dex from now, you will only achieve 120 at lvl 119 D:
I'd lower the str to 1, vit a bit, and int to no more than 30 for now(in fact my 136 wanderer still has 30 int, and doesnt suffer much)

Thank you both! Replies below:
You can use raydric or menblatt for faw too.

Well I plan to have Menblatt and Devilling for my gene so it fits in perfectly here, but I need a refine event before I dare take my wings up to +9 for that final enchant (and I'm short on another DR Card).
Similarly I already have BP and RM dex boots from my Gene. Neither enchant is ideal for a performer I know, but I figure it'll negate the SP drain of HE and still grant me the instant cast until I can allocate the money for HE ones.. Are you suggesting pump dex now to 120, or reduce other stats at my current state to achieve it now/ a few levels?

I do have that option yeah, although at 99 I can't really hit it just yet. Do you think my gear is sufficient to survive with 30 INT and ~20 vit?
I've put this in the calculator:
Str: 1
Agi: 50
Vit: 28
Int: 30
Dex: 120
Luk: 1
I could do that by level 104, then focus on AGI for a bit perhaps?

Would you please make a guide for low budget players? Thank you very much in advance!

let Jaye and Fuyukikun do it. ><" btw you don't need to have op gears like me. Fuyukikun's gear is good enough too.

Priority would be to get some +4 temporal dex boots even without enchant or card just for fast cast sr.
Sound amps when you can afford them
Then faw

Thank you very much! Would HBP be a generic replacement for FAW?

But HBP is cheaper, right? Do you mean in the long run?

Buying things and then hawking them to afford other things is a rabbit hole you should never get into unless you like staying poor. Buy things for keeps. Only sell them if you have no plans to ever use then again. In other words, don't buy hbp until you can afford to have both faw and hbp, and you have a chara hbp is more ideal for (maybe gx).
Becoming stacked with gears like the op is all about incrementally accrued stuff.

HBP just if you are looking for more neutral reductions than FAW, otherwise FAW all the way

So I was really excited to try my new gear out in Mid Ti:
Ohh okay so noob alert, I forgot that skill reset also resets the skill on the hotbar. Still a bit disappointed to be honest?

More agi/dex will help your damage. Like you have +28 dex while I routinely run around with +70 or more.
