Hi guys. Well, I'm not from USA or any country that uses USD currency, but the warp portal site used to have a payment method called Mercado Pago which allows me to pay at my country's currency with a very good price. The problem is that this payment method, for some reason, comes and go all the time. I mean, one day I was out of my home and I've tried to buy some warp points, and the payment method wasn't there, then I came home and it was there! But after some days (today) I was trying to buy more WP and now the method is not there. I even have the transaction history of that method but right now I can't use it! Is there any condition to be accomplished, or a time schedule to some methods to appear? I don't know why this happen... Anyway, thanks in advance for any support provided!
Edit: in the "other payment methods" there is the "Mercado Pago" and other options as well, but it was not this one that I used before, this one is very expensive. The one that I used to bought at was in the main options, not in the "others"

Have you tried using another web browser to view the payment page?

I've tried with safari and google chrome at iPad and Mozilla Firefox at desktop...
Edit: do you guys see it? It's called "Mercado Pago" and 500 WP costs R$8,12 (BRL)

There might be a problem with the payment page. Please submit a support ticket to the technical department, going to forward this matter to the CMs on Monday as well.

Well, as I said, the method is available now lol. I'll try to buy before it goes out, but seriously, this issue needs to be solved... Thanks for the support Cinnamon!

Do you use adblock or a proxy to connect to the site? I just talked with the payment team and it looks like payment options like Mercado Pago look for your IP, and where you are contacting us from and may display (or not display) payment options depending on where your IP says you are.

Sorry for taking so long to respond! I don't use Adblock and I'm not sure if I use a proxy since I don't really know what a proxy is, but I don't understand why the problem come and go, since I don't change anything in my stuff... :(

Hey! Hm, so... After a long time without playing, I just came back and I was trying to buy some WP but, as before, the problem persists... When I started playing again, the option was there, but now it's not anymore. Any news about this problem?

Hi Cinnamon, thanks for the answer and the welcome!
You might want to check our pm history since that will spare us some time.

Trying to simplify, the "other payment methods" holds the MercadoPago option that is way more expensive than the other one that used to appear at the main list with the same name. The main one costs around 12 BRL and the other one costs 20 BRL, but the main one appear randomly (at least I wasn't able to notice a pattern).

I don't use ad block, don't use proxy (since I don't know what that is) and I've tried many browsers :(

I'll wait for your answer. Thanks!

 

Edit: The payment option is, right now as I'm writing, available. Might it has a time to be available? Like maybe a business hours? Because I couldn't use it 2 hours ago...

Yes I still have the PM and the option should have been fixed sometime last year. Other than proxy or browser issue I don't know why it would disappear and reappear.

Hey!

I know this is an old issue, very old indeed, and I had the same problem exatcly one year ago, but it indeed goes on till today. The MercadoPago payment method rarely showed up and it seem it's not any differente by now.

The problem is, the support team always tell us to see if there's adBlockers os Proxies, but that seems to be by far not the problem. I never used proxies and I turned my adblockers in all browsers off, even cleaned cache, and it still doesn't show the option, and other people are stating the same. It's always a matter of extreme luck to get it to show the option someday.

But one certain day last week it did! Then an hour later it didn't anymore.

I am in Brazil and I can check my IP address to surely guarantee you it is located in Brazil and no proxies are being used. Isn't the fact that it shows up sometimes and then goes away again an indication that Warp Portal itself is having problems with the IPs or something like that?

 

Anyway, what can be done to get around this ever lasting issue?

 

I wait for a mod's reply.

Probably because of adblock or some kind of IP.
Mercado pago is only available for certain telicom providers in the Brazil area, so if you hide your IP or mess it with you you have that option.

Sorry, i didn't quite understand what am I to do. I need to hide my IP or mess it with me?

As for being available just for some telicom providers, does this means some people with certain internet providers IP get the option and the rest do not?

If you change your IP (Proxy), travel, etc Mercado Pago payment option will not appear. Try to check during working business hours, see if it appears but make sure that you are not behind proxy.
