Hello Everyone,

I'm going to introduce myself,

My name is Bam Middle

I made this topic to talk bout some of things i've been seeing on this peculiar class.

 

This is me right now, i'm taking any sugestions or knowlodge that you guys have to make this little guy one of the best kage on this servers.

Currently as you guys can see i'm running kunai explosion build.

Not trying to hide anything from you guys because what i'm seeking right now is knowlodge.

Going to post all the cons i've found right now so we solve my doubs and everyone has the same problems the i do.

1º - I've found myself so many times getting stuck or buged because of cicade skin(Mirror Image) making me die so many times because get's stucked on a wall or something.
(In my opnion i think they didn't prepare the game itself for this type of skill that.)

2º - Dealing damage with the kunai build is not hard at the beginning but once i got into HighTI things started to get a little more complicaded
I really couldn't damage half of the HP of the monsters even with 9 Earth Chams and Endow on.
(I didn't try using a racial/size weapon yet but i belive that was not going to make a huge impact.)

3º - Delay After i've found that is a huge frustration on this type of build. Not dealing a huge damage but still having a High Delay after Cast it is very frustrating for me.
(Have reseted my stats so many times and tryed to use some other gears but in the end didn't make a substantial impact.)

4º - I know that character specially is going to take alot of effort and money from me but i'm really want/going to make it work doesn't matter the price that it takes.
(I really mean it)

5º - Its has so many debuffs and it is so underrated.
(But i'm in love with it, love is pain)


Well, enough of me talking like a maniac of non-sense person. 

I'm taking any information that you guys can give it to me so we can learn how to improve and make it work.

I cheat my way out of the cicada problem by using a brynhilldr, but that's not an option available to most people =[

 

Maybe that mirror image skill is worth using. I've never really tried it.

I dont think there's a way to cheat (Being a regular player, no brynhildr)  when ur being mobbed or dealing with an enemy with huge aspd. That's my opnion.

You can cast pure soul while tanking and also use medium life potion. You can outheal i comung damage these ways.

Use /bingbing & /bangbang to spin yourself and use your shadow clone to escape, or even stuck in the wall, cast the clone and the mobs will switch target, in this short time hide and use shadow leap away.

Those are sound tactics but they require better hand-eye coordination than I can field

I'm not likely to suggest things I can't even do myself

+9~12 Grimtooth ea8+ is better than the RWC Knife btw

I've read Okami's post. Ashuckel i tried to find a Grimtooth like that but looks like no one is selling lols~.

You can use a faceworm queen leg too, grimtooth was just a cheaper suggestion

I was thinkin bout it getting a +12 FQL [2] hard to find one and the price is a bit salty. But i'm looking forward to it.

With the same cost, I think you can manage to get EA5/5+ Grimtooth, which is basically the same as 2xAS FQL.

My Grimtooth is EA4/5 and I got it for a less than 50m.

The grimtioth also lowers def, so they aren't exactly the same.

Oh yeah and it doesn't make you a Faceworm Queen when you mob. It's always nice to be a queen when mobbing.

its also a more versatile weapin to loan to other characters.

Not sure on this one, and doesn't apply to this thread, but drake card in a fql may make it better than any grimtooth on large enemies period and can be used on any alt without a card slot wasted on archer skel.

Jaye has a point, being versatile on a kagerou requires alot of diferent set's of gears. I'm looking foward to a FQL and a Brynhildr. Brynhildr counter some of skills of Kagerou but in some situations can be the best armor as well. Is all how to adapt this type of character to the style that need's to be played.

Lol Rodec, first thing you need to accept when you play a expanded class its that you need to be versatile. I thought that everyone knowed that. Being versatile is expensive but that's what you need to play with this type of class.

My magic oboro atm moment is everything but versatile xDD. Well +/-, just cant deal with gtb users :c

I usually don't play my oboro lol xP not my forte. I've got good gears but I can't seem to get damage anywhere near what someone like ashuckle touts being able to do, for whatever reason lol.
