Greetings, everyone!

 

I'm trying to search for a new map and, after all maps mentioned so far, I've been having a lot of issues with lag and bots.

 

We are aware that the most important factor for a good map is the amount of players there. I'm sure we can make it work if we start populating these maps:

I can contribute with 13 Homunculus.

 

I'm just sick and tired of OD1 with the freaking bots not being helpful at all.

 

inb4 the alchemist bots sit next you and leave a spot vacant, and if you move they moved together with you. I can prove it. Seriously not helping and very annoying like a mosquito.

After 1 whole week of AFK leveling my homunculus in the Grove map. I've realized that it's just as good as OD1, so I've moved them back to my original AFK leveling map, again...

 

Once more, the only real issue here is that we lack players for these maps. If we can please reach an agreement and make a solution ourselves, it will be good for everyone. We need to cooperate with each other.

Going down there right now (OD1), but I can only help with 1 homun.

My first goal here is to avoid unnecessary conflicts with players, I've been trying to find a solution for my AFK leveling of homunculus, and what the ideal thing would be is a map free of complaints of other players. As you know, there are many who think that homunculus should give preference to a character in game Character > Homunculus. But we all know that no map is 24/7 full o players ( at least REAL players haha ). So if we can gather enough players, ANY map will suffice! (=

 

The best way for homu to level up in OD is to stay narrow passages, I avoid staying in open areas or behind the texture of the map with homus without AoE skills.

 

UPDATE: moved my homunculus to Grove Map, again. I don't like the idea of being supported by bots to keep the spawn rate balanced, so feel free to contribute. We can avoid unnecessary casualties and discussion if we work together.

Well OD1 is good, but it's lacking a lot of players atm. It used to be crowded, but not anymore. I'm down to work together, just moved my non-AoE homun to Groves, as well as my 150 Sera too keep the spawn up ;)

Another map I was thinking of, was Ground Petites because of the spotlight, but that may only work for AoE homuns.

Oh, that would be very convenient! The Ground Petite would be perfect, with the only exception for non-AoE as you already mentioned... Would Geffen Dungeon 1 be a good map for AFK leveling now then?

That I don't know. Those mobs die in one single attack lol, we could try there if you want to.

Remember that there's also global double exp event now. Not sure if that stacks with spotlight though, can't remember.

Hmmm, for non-AoE? Those mimics will bother us big time, that's for sure. And they have a lot of HP in my opinion. We can try though. Are you still at Groves?

Homuns no longer benefit from increased global exp. The new system effectively put an end to exp events for homuns.

They do benefit from spotlights, but it doesn't look like ground petites are currently spotlighted. They aren't in this list from 2012.

That said, some of the monsters on that page also do not appear to have boosted exp. These are the ones I tested:
  • ground petite - no change
  • wraith - no change
  • raydric - no change
  • rybio - 2x
  • evil druid - 2x
  • sting - 2x
  • heirozoist - 2x
  • quve - 2x

No. I moved my homunculus to GH Church. And I'm testing the EXP there. Thank you, reno, for your contribution.

It would be nice if homus could also loot for you and all the items would go to you inventory. lol in my dreams.

UPDATE EDIT: Right now I have groups of 3 in GH. Let's see how it works.

What the hell? Reallly? I didn't even notice that, I've lvled a few homuns during 2x post homun exp chart fix and it felt like faster than no exp at all. But it might have been just my thoughts then.

I thought of the Spotlight as all Geffen maps but that would also include OD. It's just GH zones. It's weird about Raydrics and Wraith, but anyways.. Evil Druids give nice exp!

Not even in private server works like that! It'd be sweet but so broken at the same time haha.

Cool, going there with my non-AoE homun.

It's the new system of exp = (basic + VIP + server), so it's only been in for about two months.

Got it! No more double exp event for homuns then. We gotta make use of spotlights now.

FYI, it might not be spotlighted, but it sure is hella mobbed and they're spawn times/numbers are insanely fast.  Sunken Ship.

I haven't played iRO in months, mate. But I might be willing to give iRO another chance. Though that won't happen until I can't play this other Tower of Tree of Tree.

With the spotlight, I would suggest http://db.irowiki.or...info/hu_fild06/ as each mob would give almost double exp of a single Zenorc. Only challenge is that it's a big map and would need at least 20 players to boost the spawn rate. Also, no looter means AOE doesn't help...

That`s currently impossible. Just as Joa said, the map is too wide and large, and we don`t have the numbers for that.

Having 20 players is not enough, you need a map that allows 20 players to come and go, because nobody leaves theirs homus afk for 24/7, so you need a balanced flux of players coming and out.
