The time has come, the realms of Midgard are to be joined!

 

October 26th, 2015, we will be merging Odin and Freya into one server.  There is still much to be discussed and we are hard at working at trying to make this a smooth transition.   

We know the following details:

• Freyja will be merging into Odin on October 26, 2015 (During our normal MA day)
• There will be various events being run at the time to welcome the Freyjan community into Odin, and details will show up as we get closer to the merge date
• There will also be sales and possibly new shop boxes to celebrate the merge

 

What we are still working on:

• Specific details of events, sales, shop items
• item discrepancies

I remember a few months ago asking GMs if server merging between Freya and Odin was possible and they answered NO. (Why you always lyinin? hmmmmm omg!) Therefore I am against the server merge for various reasons:

 

1.) Freya and Odin have different economies. Did you guys know that a single one slotted costume is about 3-5 million zenny? How are you guys supposed to manage incoming economy from Freya when an average player has at least Millions and Millions of zenny? And the dissatisfaction of Freya players because they can only transfer 1% (assuming) of their zenny?

 

2.) Exploited/Duplicated Items and Bots. Although air strikes are a good response against botters lets be honest, even in Odin there are a couple of players that have +9 Cards that they blatantly show. How much more in Freya when the server is considered as Botting and Exploiting central?

 

Please please please reconsider! I hate the fact that Odin server might change for worse

Well, about time, the inevitable is happening. To this day there was no point to open Freyja in the first place and the server has only hurt the game more than it's helped it. The increase in player is very welcoming to for Odin, but if you guys care about your game at all please put a real limit on what people can bring over, especially ZENY... SEA and Thai merger was a complete disaster and I would hate for this merger to be a repeat of that. Last thing we need is once again, to hurt the remaining players' morale or even worse, lose more players AGAIN caused by a server merger performed very poorly.

If GM's will do the zenny cap per char again like they did on merging SEA to Odin and THAI to Freyja . MARKET IS GG . ITS SO EASY TO CREATE MANY ACCOUNT (w/10 characters) and distribute the 10k zenny on each char (for example 10k zenny cap per char ) than to farm 10k zenny in odin. Prepare to lose many players again if that happens.

Glad to hear this further merge since Freyja is running out of decent players to play with.
I hope this time, WP has already known how to cope with zeny inflation or else old players will gradually fade away likewise when TH were suddenly merged to Freyja.
*zeny capacity* is the most considerable issue so far.
TBH, I couldn't wait to see real WoE & PvP of RO2. xDD

Zeny will be no problem at all if they use the % rather than cap. as a player of both servers, i would consider 4~8% of total zeny to bring over from freyja after merged will be fair for both market, and not affecting the existing odin market much.

please make some event like royal casino for a month on both servers then full zeny wipe to fix broken economy (atleast on freyja lol)

and make non storable in storage items like Divine Protection or gold hammer\menu\sign storable for a god sake

fyi... i earn all my zeny there just like i did in odin, around 5% will be a fair rate, 8% will be ideal like how we earn in odin. let's say 5% of 40m is only 2m, i can earn that in less than couple of weeks in odin. is it much?

I have my Odin and Freya characters on the same account, is the character creation limit being raised or will my Freya chars get deleted or will be able to choose which chars get deleted ?

I don't think they'll restrict the zeny well judging from previous merges.
