Hi,

I'm getting my Archer to Comodo and started the Dancer Job Change Quest, brought them the items and then went to Bijou for the Q & A section. I got the 2nd Set of Questions and everything was going just fine until Question No. 8.
I clicked the correct answer, clicked on next and the upper window chat said (Close) instead of (Next) on the button.

I closed and got disconnected - reapppeared in my Save Point (Pron).
Tried it two or three times now and it always happens at the same point and question, I disconnect and reappear at my Save Spot.

I first thought it might've been my connection (bit unstable earlier on), but it was stable then and I didn't experience any lag or had anything open that might conflict with RO.exe (unless Firefox does?)
I don't think that WoE could be the problem ..

P.S: This is on the Valkyrie Server.

Ok I'm not sure this is it but, the problem I had was that I took too long answering the question. The window will just time out...

It's not really what you are describing but if you are alt-tabbing for an answer that might happen.

However, you get the same set every time you try? Mine changed (lead to more alt-tabbing and thus more tiem outs for me but yeah...), and I think in all my Q&A quest parts this was also the case so it could very well be you are actually bugged (you OR the quest). Of course I'm on Ymir but I'd think that would be the same for all servers.
I'd try sending in a ticket via support and explain your case (link to here), as quests do get bugged sometimes (alot).

Well, I tried again an hour or two later - my Q & A set changed to the 3rd one.
Now my only problem is the dancing - ever since Renewal came out, my characters lag or are walking rather .. blocky? I click on a square, she goes there and then moves one down or sideways. (I can't do the longer dancing steps, my character doesn't move all the way or I need to double click more often to a place to get there*)

* Then again, that might be because I have a lot of stuff on my Pc ..? But I deleted old stuff recently ..

Ahh ok good to hear you got the first problem over with.

Yeah, the dancing is in my opinion THE most horrible part of any quest ingame. I also had alot of lag and to tell you the truth... It took me over 20 times! My guild mates can attest to this because I was ranting about it for hours whilst trying to atempt it over and over.

Key is patience, and getting a good feel for it, especially with lag. I will tell you a trick however, with the longer dance moves the ONLY thing you need to to correctly is the last move. So make sure that at the end of a sequence you are on the last position mentioned. So if they tell you to go 'up,down, right,up,down' just walk down and wait for the next sequence (but maybe you already know this). Even with that trick it took me countless times as the time you get sometimes is even too short for walking 1 direction + lag spikes + random fails because you slightly misstep.

It's a horrible quest :D Good luck!
