If the IM belt does come out, would it be better to have it as an item in a gasha box (sort of like opening Car Pet Boxes) or would it be made available to buy as it is?

I'm pretty sure people would rather get the Item as is. Making the low levels farm the dungeon a few times or so and trade in for a belt could be nice. Or maybe as is from a permanent quest could be nice.

Using luck to get an item that was originally supposed to be made for newbies that get crushed by high end stackers is not the best choice. (Of course it's also good for the stackers too)

I'm not expecting much to come out of this thread. Hopefully they consider some sort of element resistance for lower level bsqs but not without harming the already effective set combinations that people are used to.

I just thought about using those bless that are used to extract your element cards.
Why not exchange them + a new origins belt (or whatever you'll like) for that element belt ? :o

I agree that dev team should fix the ratio.
For lower battlesquare, rare Elga set is a choice but it's many times difficult to collect even though Elga set is lower leveled than POS X( I'm expecting it to be easier to collect it.

Something to note is that attack vs resistance isn't a flat ratio.

With many thanks to the person who shared this with me. As you maybe can see, 210~230 resist brings about 1% resistance to elemental damage. Which means that 23k resist completely nullify elemental damage of one type. This 1:11 ratio is at least wrong, and at most stupid.

The thing about the bologna ratio theory is that it's somewhat barely accurate. It only applies to a person testing out an exact number or attack and resistance with it being absolute. Yes for that theory, the exact number of attack and resist may the 1:11 come from, although inaccurate, nevertheless it is completely wrong to state that in a problem with elements in general.

I also wanted to put in the graph multiple range of elemental damage. The graph maker was too lazy. The curve will most likely be different anyways, duh because the dependent variable changes, I can only experiment ranges within 1-7k single elemental attack, but requires work since resistance is too much of a hassle. So basically even if we do get that small boost in bracelet, it will help. Although not major, it is something that reduces damage early on so no one walks in there only to stare at a death timer.

Some player who can reach 2278 element attack in one particular element, and some other who can reach 26718 elemental resistance in the same element. More I need not say.

the 1:11 ratio came from the group of older players that were testing elements with an old GM to figure it out. We didn't start to see a drop in element damage until we did ~100 attack vs ~1000 resistance(thus the 1:11 basic ratio was born). At about 30k Res vs an Elemental weapon the damage became 1 regardless of how much element we could stack at that time, vs normal weapon with elements socketed on element damage was reduced to 0 or 1, while normal damage wasn't effected.

How did they control their hypothesis?

Wazam. 1-7k damage against 18758 resist.

Basically the reduction of elemental damage is a flat 86%.

Likewise the more resists you stack the % gets higher.

Leading to 100% cap. Reducing no matter how much elemental attack you have.
