Eat Gear do no want to eat purchased equipment from NPC, i read some post that it should be monster drop.

so i farmed flail/club from earth petites far left from Geffen, and yes i farmed almost 100.

 

upgraded it to +8, and then Eat Gear told me that the +8 weapon i got is from NPC.

 

conversation is something like:

 

Eat Gear: I do not like that equipment of yours, it's from NPC, you can't fool me.

Me: the fudge you talking about, they are from petite, i farmed it for hours.

Eat Gear: GTFO !!

 

So guys, would you be so kind to clarify what specific equipment that Eat Gear only wants, preferred level of weapon or armor?

the one dropped by petite (the 2 slotted one) is indeed a NPC item. proof: http://db.irowiki.or...item-info/1510/
for non NPC item, u need this flail [3]

but you cant turn them in either since eat gear wants level 3 weapons, flails are level 2. so it is a double punch in the face for you.

TL;DR
eat gear wants non NPC armors and level 3/4 weapons

The reason why some gear drop by monster cannot be used for eatgear is because it also can be purchase through npc. For example, eatgear would not eat +7 cotton shirt[0]  even you got that shirt from monster(desert wolf baby). It is because you also can buy cotton shirt[0] from npc too. But eatgear will eat +7 cotton shirt[1] which obtainable only from monster(picky). Before you upgrade the equipment, you can ask eatgear npc first if he like  the equipment or not. just equip it and talk to him. if you got the right equipment, he will tell you to upgrade it to at least +7  first because its not delicious enough at below +7.

• Its not that it has to be dropped from a monster
• its that it cannot be the exact same weapon the NPC sells.
• As the other poster mentioned, the petite drops the same version an NPC sells.

ok then,

a quick query,

 

if i feed my weapon to eat gear will i get random certs or weapon certs only, also for headgear and armors.

focus on farming medusa you'll end up having a lot of weapons but no ori to break em.

this method used to work wonder when ori price is around 55k. now the eat gear is perma and cert is away from the box, not to mention enriched is still in.
