Can any1 tell me which job is better monk or wizard?

 

I'm a solo player and i dunno how to party with people but when i see the description i found it hard to choose coz i mention a lot about party play. I'm a PvE player. 

 

Can any1 give me some advice. Thanks

I'd see monk more like a party class, since it has many party buff.

Also if you planned to farm gold with arcade mode, there is no doubt that wizard is a better choice.

Both are good for PvE. Monk is more like boss killer with great single target damage and wizard is awesome at clearing many mobs. If you are solo player, I recommend monk, because it can solo everything in the game.

Note that if you're running lots of mission maps (gold farm etc) monk/invoker might have troubles to get high rank. Wizard has many AoE skills that helps clearing mission maps fast with high rank. Single target damage is much lower with wizard.

Pick one that feels more interesting, you can always level another one if you dont like the first.

I would pick sorcerer if my computer isn't really good. monks are based on mashing the x button. If you have a decent computer and won't get bored by pressing 1 button as the primary damage source choose monk. If you want a lot of skills that do area damage, choose wizard.

Well monks can shoot lighting and call upon rain of fires. And blizzard...you can do that with an xxzx combo.

It is not a blizard, more like an ice wall.

I have two ways of replying to your direct attack. I'll entertain you (and myself).

 

First way.

My comment is exceptionally true, as Monks indeed don't summon blizzard storms, lightning and meteors. They summon lightning, but they don't summon meteors. Like, you know, "something and something else" kind of means both at once. So when there are three of them, it kind of means all three at once. Which Monks don't. Hope it's clearer with an explanation.

 

 

Second way.

I don't have any "main" other than my Sorcerer, which I think I made pretty clear a few times already, and while they do have lightning, the only skill including meteors I can think about when talking about Monks is the one available to Magicians, which is summoning a small burning rock and that you won't use except for PvP purpose. I'm talking about huge boulders coming from the sky, something close to what (supposedly) caused the dinosaurs' disappearance, but you could understand that from the sentence's context and avoid picking on me for this little.

 

I'm not responsible for your bad day, I don't want to know what's causing you trouble, I don't want to know you and you had no reason to attack me for this.

Now go worship Madoka and watch anime. If you feel like doing so.

after much thinking and debating, i think i'll choose wizard since i'm really having a hard time killing mob when i'm a magician. that really kills my patience.

Yup.

I was trying to avoid this post, because, as many people here know I'm biased towards the Invoker class. I've been playing a wizard a bit lately (iWasBored, I was on Oda's Livestream yesterday) and I'm enjoying it.
