Can we request some gem stat combinations btw?

I can give some sample Paragon Gem Combinations here.
We're still working on how to present them up front, so players can be aware of how they will progress as they are empowered.

It will remain down until we've got everything back in order. Pegasus, being a test server is not our top priority to bringing back online after our server relocation. So I can't say when it will be back, but when it is, I'll let everyone know. :)

Well I certainly hope it's soon, Pegasus is slowly becoming my home server because of simple properties unique to it.

Cant we have a safe zone/ buffing area in Junon Cartel ? If not, its just good as nothing. I believe Junon Cartel seriously needs it, or else it will be just another boring place. Tsss

MonnaLise, we're still working on the Junon Cartel, so thank you for the feedback. Having a 'safe zone' has been suggested before, but also has some concerns for being on the map itself. We're still weighing the pros and cons.

The PVP community has been waiting for this map, where we can have wars without intervention of IM boosters/food/pots, but tbh some are disappointed with the restriction of goulash, but that is a compromise and I am fine with that. It would just be a turn down for us if we can't enter this battle zone if we cant bring out the best of our chars, by using stats buffers. Addition of safe zones/buffing area will be highly appreciated.

Aside from that, the group size is small, only catering only 11 fighters in a group +2 in a party [4 stats buffers]. So the rest will just enter as individuals and be denied of the benefits in a group to see members' HP ang group chat [unless you group with all clanmates, but sometimes in a group you have non-clanmates]. It would be nice if the Clan Alliance will be implemented or group size will be increased to 25 perhaps.

I personally don't agree. The best of your character comes from your character, not other outside forces. Call it a social experiment if you will, but I personally want to see who has a legitimately solid build based on one single character.  It's how we run PvP tournaments, and for good reason I believe. 

 

@Leonis,

Can you make a few more Gems?

MoveSpeed, Skill Power, Skill Range

Skill Power, Pierce Defense, PvM Offense

 

also, will the Paragon gems be held back long enough that some versions for the DoT/HoT update can be taken into consideration for their design? I have a few characters that would perform very well compared to performing poorly atm if that was the case.

hmmm i wanted to join pegasus server for a project in mind :3, but is bad that is down atm :( ...., soo guess my report for my project will need to wait a big wile ;(

So just wanted to publicly voice my concern over the buff total when wearing maximum charm on characters via stats and gear. +65% for AP/DEF/HP is pushing it just a bit too far. Getting rid of the +200 stats and ramping up the other buffs to 65% pretty much defeats the point of getting rid of said +200 stat point buffs.

 

Not only does increasing peoples HP bars, or damage infliction by 65% cause a power struggle to those without it, but it indirectly increases the strength of status downs. This is going to lead to player input along the lines of 'status downs are too strong' when the reality is, the status-downs increase in potency the more of the sat exists, meaning the stronger the buff, the stronger the status-downs.

i did understand that it worked diffrently.

example, person A is the cleric with max charmgear which buffs person B.

Person B is a soldier with less charm. The buffs will work with the charm from the reciever so in this case person B. I might be terribly wrong but this is how i did understand the changes. :p_swt:

Yeah that's wrong Angel. 

 

Person A buffs person B

Person A has 1084 CHA and gives Person B a +65% Attack Power Buff.

Person B has 10 [base] CHA and a normal build w/ 1700 Attack Power. 

Person B's Attack Power goes up by 1,105 for a total of 2,805 Attack Power.

 

It's too much. And in reference to status downs lets say same situation

 

Person B is getting Buffs from same Person A

Person C is applying a 30% Attack Power Down to Person B

 

Without Buffs from Person A, Person B's Attack Power goes down to 1,190 [-510]

With Buffs from Person A, Person B's Attack Power goes down to 1,963.5 ~1,964 [-841]

 

So, the stronger the buff, the stronger the status down. And given historical examples in ROSE, people won't complain about the buffs, they'll complain about the status downs. Not even taking into consideration that the status down gets stronger with the stat it's targeting. 

My issue with this is that at their current values on Pegasus, status downs are FINALLY after many years useful in PvM combat, especially against Kings.

If they get lowered because of PvP, it'll just be another case of PvP taking higher importance over PvM, ruining something that could be universally beneficial to both fields, in favor of one. And that's not fair to the groups of players who PvM for their daily routines. 

 

Hence, Buffs need to be scaled back. 

 

There's also one extreme example I haven't really pointed at much but, for giggles.

Let's say you have a Knight, with around, 30k HP unbuffed, about 8k Defense, and about 1600 AP. Let's Apply the 65% to each of those stats.

2,640 AP

 - - - +1,040 Buff

13,200 Defense

 - - - +5,200 Defense

49,500 HP

 - - - +19,500 HP

then the % update doesnt make any sense.. if it was about charm the reciever has it would make more sense.

but now its just weird, i tho the update was a scale back but now its basicly an upgrade O.o

I know it solves things. But not the things i expected to be fixed with the buff changes. Anyway you're right again..

Pegasus should be up at this time. Are you still getting a not responding? Make sure that you are running the game in administrator mode and that it has been cleared by your antivirus program as well before reloading the game.

So i dont get this

In the minimap it says rodath is just right beside my champ but theres no npc there actually

But clearly I can see rodath on the east but the mini map say Windall
