Yeah, and being Día de Muertos the most known one in this continent, it's bound to be the most common one. I'm mexican, so guess what mine will be about :v

 

Also, totally different from what I'm used to see from your Fier :v It's dark, gritty, filled with attitude, realist, sexy, -_-y. You usually do more cute stuff XD I really like it though. Skull make up version is my fav. The flowers look lovely and very well detailes. Duneyrr goes with the theme perfectly and the Gen has all the posing of glamour this holiday (suprisingly) tends to show off.

Btw, your story about yor brother scaring you is funny :v Poor little Fier scared of ghosts. Don't worry, these ghosts are friendly :3

xD Thanks Akupuff, to be frank I'm not very good with this style... yet. It's something I'm trying to push myself to improve and did struggled. For the past few days I spent many nights drawing into 1-2am and over exhausted myself with it. @.@; But it also means I really enjoyed working on it that I keep losing track of time. n_n;; I lost count how long I took to finish this but definitely a LOT of learning experience with lightings, painting hairs, flowers, details, culture, and even the monster Duneyrr. They seem to have Manuk 'wood/ twig' hair and I wonder if there's some connection to it. o-o Hoping to keep improving.

 

When I looked through a lot of photo references, the girls with these make up instantly made me thought of my red haired Gen. She loves flowers a lot and likes to be glamourous... it fits her personality she'd totally be into this. I will draw a cuter cartoon her when I get around to. :3

Creatures of the netherworld are all gathering together in Nilfheim for the "Sabbath of the Dead" and it looks like they have just found the right sacrifices for their Ritual. Will our ghost hunters--a lackadaisical eccentric Maestro, an anti-social troll Ranger, a sassy chicken Warlock, a larky but no less than chicken Wanderer herself (Ahem! She insists she's a HOT CHICken Wanderer. Well, whatever.), and a flirty, hot-tempered Arch Bishop--make it out alive, in one piece, and with their souls intact?

I decided to theme it after the way we celebrate All Saint's Day in Poland - it's customary to bring candles in colourful jars to be placed on our loved ones' graves. That day, all the cemeteries are shining with thousands of lights and make an absolutely stunning sight. I figured that in Midgard, Horongs, Gajomarts and Lichterns could provide the lights and colors, for an ever more mystical display. I hope you guys like it.

Ah, I managed to finish this before the deadline.

To be honest, my place don't have any special celebration for remembering the dead. The closest thing are giving prayer for the dead every Thursday night and visiting the grave during eid mubarak (it's mainly visiting your relatives, dead ones included, than just the dead).

 

 

Little Morroc, along witn his band of creepy flying skulls has descended complete with their getup (make up?), What is his intention? Giving respects to his victims? Or just trying to enjoy the celebration?

Hello, 

This is my First Time ever! posting anything on the WP Forum :3 So please bear with me.

 

So my First impression of the Theme; The day of the death. Instantly gave me the idea of the Motion Picture The Book Of Life.

Unlike in my Culture. People remembering death one with all celebration and flowers. 

So here I am, drawing three of my RO friends to represent my Day of the Death in RO.
