The STR bonus, I believe, is only applied to base weapon atk. At least, according to the wiki's description.

 

EDIT: Also, the numbers are missing the over-upgrade bonus from the +5~+9 upgrade range.

 

So Thanatos would have 220 + 63 + (5~70). Because of the variance in over upgrade damage, it's easier to just take the median value of 7. So, it'd be 220 + 63 + 35 = 318.

Yeah, I guess you are right. I also feel that the refinement bonus is not included in the bonus calculation.

Haha, I guess I oversimplified it. That calculation was the furthest I've ever gone. But I just want to ask, according to the wiki, that crit modifiers are multiplicative to the 1.4 crit damage.

 

• Critical damage modifiers like Aunoe card/Temporal LUK Boots goes right after the original crit damage, it goes like Final Critical Damage = Highest Weapon Level Variance Damage × 1.4 × Critical Damage Modifier % Ex: your crit damage goes for 500 with a clean Faceworm Queen Leg [2], if you put 2 Aunoe Cards inside it, your crit damage will be 700.

 

Would that change the Thana vs. Chakram outcome?

The thing is, you can't just consider clean weapon vs clean weapon+combo. You must consider your whole setup to have a reliable sample.

To clarify: the thanatos katar only gives you -6 luck, which translates to -2 crit. Not at all an issue for a GX, since it's very easy for us to stack enough crit (with katars, especially.)
