I tried few rounds and few scenarios. So far I manage to create only alcohol alone using SP3.

My intention is to create acid bottles and bottle grenades ONLY using SP3 but fails.

 

What happens:

 

1. All materials in inventory, I got 100 alcohols, 50 acid bottles, 50 bottle grenades.

 

2. Only alcohol materials in inventory. I got 100 alcohols. Creation success but then fail when only 1 set of alcohol materials in inventory (100 test tube, 100 empty botles, 500 poison spore, 500 stems). I need to have a min of 2 sets then it can proceed with creation.

 

3. Only acid botles materials in inventory. Skill fails

 

4. Only bottle grenades materials in inventory. Skill fails.

 

5. Both acid bottles and bottle grenade materials in inventory. Skill fails.

 

I read in iRO Wiki, I can choose any one type of items to brew. I have all 3 manuals at all time in inventory, as pre-requisites.

 

Am I missing anything?

For Bottle Grenade Only:

 

- 100 empty test tube

- 500 p spore

- 500 stem

> 200 empty bottle

50 alchohol

50 fabric

ONLY 50 medicine Bowl

 

For Acids Only:

 

50 immortal hearts

>200 empty bottles

50 medicine bowls

 

For Alcohol Only:

 

500 stems

500 poison spores

200 medicine bowls

100 empty test tubes

 

All 3 x1:

 

500 stem

500 poison spore

200 medicine bowl

200 empty bottle

100 empty test tube

50 fabric

50 alcohol

50 immortal heart

 

 

This is what I was given when I struggled using that skill long ago.

 

Edit; Are you asking to not make alcohol ever? Think my brain isn't awake so the OP is confusing me.

iirc you need to have / create 50 alcohol on the first cast to do it

Are you using everything in the list I posted? More often than not when I failed Bottle Grenades I was forgetting to add the items for Alcohol (you need to, to start) along with the 50 Alcohol.

 

You should be able to cast it with only 50 med bowls (edit; I just want to add, you don't want 200 med bowls for this b/c that's what prevents it making more alcohol). You might just have the wrong value of mats and it doesn't like that. It's a mega picky skill. x_x

 

It's been awhile since I last mass potted bombs on Classic.

Not been able to because of maintenance last night. Gonna be testing it using list of mats listed by u. Thanks.
